The Newton Boys: Music From The Motion Picture [Soundtrack]
Editorial Reviews
Entertainment Weekly
With help from others ... funky Austin bluegrass trio Bad Livers rerecorded such '20s jazz classics as "After You've Gone" and "Right or Wrong." Buoyant stride piano, vivacious horns, plaintive fiddle, and dizzying banjo make this album the next best thing to a raucous night in a Southern speakeasy.

Great Music - Great Movie.......2001-11-28
One helluva movie and an equally impressive soundtrack! This CD features the Austin based, "Bad Livers" ,playing their own brand of music as well as Western-Swing classics such as "Right or Wrong." If you liked the movie you need to buy this CD!
A BIG MOVIE SOUNDTRACK FAN !!.......2001-03-12
I REALLY LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK AS WELL AS THE MOVIE !! This is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. For a twenty year old college student to love this category of music, it must be really good. The bouncy western blues music really inspires the movie (also the music is very addicting !) Everytime I listen to this soundtrack I can clearly picture each part of the movie. I'm not a big jazz music fan but I can hanle listening to this CD over and over again. It's a classic that diserves high ratings and a thumbs up!!

I love the soundtrack! I listen to it everyday. I think it's got great songs from an era full of fun music. Listening to it puts you into the time, you feel as if you are there. I also love the variety of instruments used to create the wonderful sounds in the music. It's a great addition to add to your collection if your a fan of great music. I love it!
Excellent music of the 20's - a roaring good time.......1998-06-29
Great music for a great movie. Captures the fun of the movie as well as the 20's, with a history of the music, as well as the making of the soundtrack. Lots of fun to listen to, especially for something different.
