Fans of this superheroine fantasy-adventure TV cartoon series will enjoy these 10 songs from the American soundtrack. The mambolike "Sailor Moon Theme" is a favorite. Most of the rest of the songs are Sailor Moon's (Jennifer Cihi) and are bouncy, upbeat solos expressing the exuberance of youth ("It's a New Day," "I Wanna Be a Star!"), the loyalty of friendship ("Call My Name," "Carry On"), and young love ("My Only Love"). Two of the best, the sweetly hopeful "Oh Starry Night" and the slightly syncopated "Rainy Day Man," also about young love, are by other vocalists. The pulsing "She's Got the Power" is good, but alas, too generically superheroish. It lacks the personal identification with the individual Sailor Scouts that the others have. --Fred Patten

Im almost 19 and I still remember all the lyrics to every single song. Hard to believe I used to watch this on upn religiously when I was 6 years old. If you grew up on the DiC english adaption of sailor moon, then this is a definite must in your sailor senshi cd collection. Although it kinda sounds like cheap early 90's music bordering the late 80s, I think thats what makes it even more charming. The singer could pass as sailor moon singing these songs, and really brings out the joy of what the show brought to loyal fans in america. Though it might not be for everyone, seeing as its kinda corny, I really suggest listening to this. The songs are pretty and like I said, brings lots of nostalgia to the early anime days. A definite must.

I maybe the biggest dork around I am 18 yr old male and a huge fan of Sailor Moon. Hard to believe cause when the show first aired in america at 6 central time, and I was in first grade I tought it was too girly! There are two things that make Sailor Moon great the unique charcters and the music. I'd say mostly the music with out it Sailor Moon would have dried up and died. Hard to believe it has been around that long and stil is rockin' after the end of the Sailor Moon Cosplay more than a year ago I think?

the Sailor moon soundtrack is one of the best cds around i may only be 11 but i know what i like this cd has even a song dedicated to each scout like my only love (sailor moon) i wanna be a star (sailor venus) yeah well i only have one thing to say buy this now!!!!!!!!

This CD is one of the greatest CD's about Sailor Moon. When I hear it, I don't want to stop hearing it so I play over and over again. Every Sailor Moon fan should get it. It's worth it. This CD has the song from the tv show and it has a reprise of the song. This is one great CD. Get it!!!

Rock on Sailor Moon.......2005-02-21

This was the first cd I got as far as SM music goes which was like 5 years ago and believe me when I say it still rocks today.The tunes are up beat and you can probably reconize almost all the songs from the hit anime like my only love from the episode A Crystal Clear Destiny and It's A New Day from the episode Day of Destiny.Okay so it may sound a bit cheesy but believe me when I say you'll buy it for the songs.....and keep it for the music probably not as much for the words. But PLEASE don't get me wrong the words absolutely rock TOO! Well anyways I highly recomend this MUST HAVE cd so by all means consider it.

I have been a fan of Sailor Moon for eight years. When I bought this soundtrack, I couldn't wait to listen to it. I LOVE the whole soundtrack. I love "My Only Love", "Oh Starry Night", and "Rainy Day Man" because they are beautiful ballads. I love "I Wanna Be A Star", "Call My Name (And I'll Be There)", "It's A New Day", "Carry On", and "She's Got The Power" because they are a lot more upbeat and fun. I just love every song on this CD. There's a song for every mood! I would totally recommend this CD to anyone who is a fan of Sailor Moon.

Hi. I am a true Sailor Moon fan. I know everything there is to know about Sailor Moon. The American and the Japanese version. Take it from me. This CD is...SUPER COOL!!! I like most of the songs on here. Let me give you my opinion on them. Sailor Moon Theme. As we all know, a very cool song. It made me want to pull out my tapes and DVDs and watch them all! I wanna be a star. Very cool. It is upbeat, and fun. Especially the music. My only love. Not much to say about this one. Didn't really like it. Call my name. A very nice song about 2 friends. The music is very upbeat and...Sort of makes you think about Serena and the scouts. Oh, starry night. A very nice song with slow music, but a nice tune. It's a new day. A very nice song. The words are kinda hard to understand, but it's still a good song. Carry on and rainy day man. Don't really like them either. Only a memory away. A great song. It will definitely remind you of the episode in the R season where Amy leaves for Germany, but changes her mind. This is all the room I have, so I'll end it at this. Buy this soundtrack. It is very good.

This was a great a CD - it features My Only Love, a brilliant song! My only complaint is that Amy's song, Will You Miss Me (only A Memory Away) is slight different. Ah well. It's still an excellent soundtrack.

Sailor Moon is one of the best anime ever. The plots are wonderful and the music is great! The songs are very catchy and have a deep meaning. My favorite song would have to be "My Only Love" or "Only a Memory Away". Every Sailor Moon fan should own this CD.
