This is one of the better Freestyle Compilation albums out there. You get both of Debbie Debbs hits,"Lookout Weekends" and "When I hear Music"...and you get the best cuts from the group Freestyle..."The Party has just begun" and "Don't stop the Rock"...you also get almost all of Trinere's best...the song i was really bummed out they didn't include was "they're playing our song"and if you're after this one and all of Trinere's best then buy her anthology, it has everything!...for the foremost this is like i said one the better Freestyle compilations out. You can play this one from start to finish!!!I STILL PLAY MOST OF THIS ALBUM IN THE CLUBS TODAY.

If you happened to be around the Los Angeles area party scene during the early 80's, there's little doubt you've "gotten-down" to most of these excellent tracks at least once. Even today, these jams are dancefloor scorchers for old-skool and new groovers alike. A Must Have! Thumbs up to AMAZON for stocking such a rare compilation.

After listening to the samples, and seeing Trinere in San Diego on 9-22-06 at the Freestyle explosion Concert, I had to get this. I bought Trinere's debut album (vinyl) in 1988, and played it so much back then, it's ALL scratchy! I was thrilled to find this CD, which contains the original ballads ONLY you can find on that record (original versions). This Gal is THE queen of freestye music, It's just a shame the record company she was with (and still owns most of her catalog rights), failed to promote her music better. Back in 1989, They re-released "They're Playing Our Song", and it was the song of the year in San Diego, on the Top 40 station. It was played every 90 minutes for months, but You could not find the single until late 1990! Brilliant dance tune, made for Billboard #1 top 40. Unfortunately, PANDISC was too busy with all the "Booty Bass" stuff then, and most of the world was not exposed.
Props to "pretty Tony" (producer) and Trinere...The record company kept your great stuff "underground", which makes it even more interesting for us Freestyle "Junkies". Love Ya!

Long extended versions for most of the songs, just the way the DJ's used to play them back in the day. The "All Night" track however is different than the club version, it's the only bad song on the cd.

Trinere is the #1 freestyle artist, hands down. She has an amazing voice, great big beats, clever lyrics and has made a giant contribution to the genre. it's a crime she doesn't release new material!!!!!! this collection consists mainly of extended mixes of tracks from her debut album. the songs are brilliant classics - i'll be all you ever need, how can we be wrong, i know you love me and all night are each incredible tracks with excellent freestyle beats. my sole criticism is that the mix of All Night is a new remix rather than the album or 12" mix - a shame because the original was so brilliant and needn't be touched! My request to her Pandisc label is - can you release a set of unreleased Trinere material, full 12" tracks + the classic hard-to-find 'It's the Music'??? that would be a great gift to her fans!!!

If freestyle is your favorite music, this is definitely one to collect. Only disappointment was the song "All Night", not really like the original. It is one of my favorite freestyle CD's.

This is a great compilation of Trinere's hits from the mid '80s through to the '90s. Having nearly all of her 12" singles, and her first album, this CD has some songs that I was missing from my collection, plus it's nice to have the older ones in CD format. I will never get tired of listening to her music, with her music hooks and infectious beat, her songs have withstood the test of time. I recommend this CD highly to anyone that is a big fan of Freestyle and Trinere.

"STAY IN LOVE WITH ME" is a song I have been trying to track down for years and I've found it. It is one of the most sensuous, provocative, dark ballads I've ever heard. The song will be in your mind long after the cd's back on the shelf, or if you're like me, it simply stays in the stereo. The vocals are powerful and unique. Have yet to tire of this one.

Trinere is the shining gem of freestyle from FL with the amazing beautiful voice and the booming beats from Jampacked/Pandisc. Her first album is a classic - perhaps the very best freestyle album out there - hard to surpass although this album has some strong contender tracks. This, her 3rd studio album (but her 2nd freestyle album - her 2nd album was too R&Bish to count) contains more great dance tracks. Freestyle highlights are Alone at Last, I Want you to want me & Rockin to the Rhythm. There are also some decent non freestyle dance tracks and ballads. All in all, the quality is still higher than most of the other freestyle albums out there, although her debut album is in a class by itself. Her label has put out numerous compilations of her material but long overdue is a collection of any unreleased remixes & new material, her 12" mixes and the hard to find 'It's the Music'. bring on more big beats!!!

    I am very disappointed with this cd. It has the same packaging and title as an old cd of mine, but does not contain the tracks as on my original. The re-mixed songs are horrible.

    Trinere is my fave freestyle artist. Her first album was simply brilliant, with top traxx with big beatz like How can we be wrong, I'll be all you ever need, All night, I know you love me, and 2 amazing slow jams All my love and Stay in love with me. Since then she has released other incredible songs, esp It's the music and a very good 3rd album on Pandisc. This collection of songs is mainly from her first album and misses several key freestyle hits she released. It also would've been nice to include Debbie Deb's fantastically creative Fantasy and There's a party goin' on. It's a good re-release, and it would even be better if these freestyle wizards would release some new traxx.

    I was very disappointed to find many of the songs remixed. I bought this CD for nostalgic purposes. It was very aggravating to hear the old songs adulterated with modern tastes. I didn't care much for the remixed style either. The overdone echo effect on some songs like "Funky Little Beat" were very annoying and some were really drawn out to the point of being boring. I bought the CD because my old tape version of the same album finally gave out. If you want to hear the songs like they were, buy the 1989 version of this CD. I wish I did. I wasted my money on this one.
