Great Remixing by an Up and Coming DJ.......2001-04-14
While both discs are great, I enjoyed listening two disc one more. On this disc, Lauerstein does an amazing job on his remixing of such tracks as "Psychopath" by Saeed & Palash (track #7) and "Evil Stepsister" by The Relief featuring Ralph Rosario (track #8). On Disc two, both "He Lives in You" by Lonnie Gordon (track #10) and "Take Me Higher" by the Kings of Tribal (track #8) ranks as that disc's best tracks.
If you are a big fan of the New York deejay scene, I highly recommend trying this album. It is not an anthem album like so many gay compilations are, however it does compile some of the best beats I have heard in a while. I hope to see many more HX compilations in the near future. For now, try this one out.
