I'd only heard of this artist when I came across a Paul Oakenfold live session recording in Miami from an Essential Mix World Tour at Shadow Lounge and the beginning song he used as the intro to that mix appealed me to a great degree; it ended up being one of the songs listed here on this album called Highlander. Not sure if it was making any connection to the movie or just the idea of Scottish Highlanders themselves but it was a great deal of reason for me to get this album and I love it. Though only sporting 8 tracks, I find its simplicity rather rewarding in a collector's sense of music as I myself find the benefit to have such unique songs to my disposal in an ever growing arsenal of audio I can manage for others to listen to and such.

It's not as hard hitting or appealing as other albums I've heard or songs I've experienced but this one set itself apart on a different type of charm that the music played. Soul Good being one of my most favorite songs on the album and I often find myself lying around in my living room, staring at the ceiling and listening to that song, using its smooth, summer on the beach ambience to take me away from it all when I need it or just want to enjoy it.

This isn't an album for every techno enthusiast but it is a good deal of tunes if you want to listen to something different for a chance. Definitely one of my favorite.

This album contains a variety of songs that fit different moods. The instrumentals are wonderful for a quiet evening alone, sipping coffee and sewing/painting/or whathaveyou. Or if you're in a funk and need a mood booster, these songs can take your minds off of things a little. A definite plus to the instrumental and classical lovers... and artists.

Most noticable songs are "Wings of New York," "To Be With You," and "Sunny Holiday." Prepare to fall in love... with music all over again.
