the legend continues.......2006-02-19
This is the latest entry in the lost legend series and it is the best alblum since the very first lost legends alblum release. The songs match up and compliment each other better than any of the previous alblums in this series, so well that it sounds like a dance alblum. I give it a high recommendation for any surf music fan. Try alldirect.com for the best prices on this series of alblums.

I totally bought it for the samples!.......2006-01-06
When Transformers and G.I. Joe came out on DVD, I went crazy for everything that reminded me of my childhood. In searching for other goodies, I stumbled on this CD. I had not bought a hardcore CD for awhile, and to be honest there is no good reason for that. But setting aside the gimmicks, this is a pretty good hardcore album. However, I really bought it for the cartoon thing...and I am not disappointed! My favorite new Megatron-inspired insult is "Earth germ". If you like 'hard music' at all and have the slightest bit of attachment to Cobra Commander, pick up your copy! This is a good sample of material from Shockwave. I guess now I'll have to pick up The Ultimate Doom!
Amazing from beginning to end.......2004-09-21
This album defines lake erie hardcore (I love to see so many people from my hometown posting on these guys). Sure if you buy it because the decepticon logo.... wow.... Anyways, this band is amazing, songs like Kickback, and Warriors of Cobra have amazing rhythms. Not to mention the album is recorded extremely well with little to no need for EQing. If you don't like what you hear from the samples don't buy it, also don't get it just for the transformer references, just get it because it is good hardcore music.
Shockwave is simply AMAZING.......2003-12-10
Transformers + Metal = Totally Reeking Of Awesomeness
This is some very, VERY catchy stuff. If you enjoy music like throwdown, killswitch engage, blood has been shed, any sort of heavy stuff, you'll certainly enjoy this CD. Hell, even if you don't like heavier music you'll probably like this CD.
I'm a man of few words, so with that i'll say that this is a great buy.
Shockwave, A band thats sound is truely unique........2003-08-09
Shockwave, original location: My hometown.
When I heard their first album I was blown away.
Autohate & Dominicon were both simply amazing albums, then this was their first large public scale release; which took their previous two albums and merged them perfectly.
This Band is not for your pop or soft music loving friend, its a truly hardcore metal sound. Thrashing bashing yelling sound, but all with excellent guitarist and vocals.
The transformers theme that they have enhanced into every song of theirs just adds to the sheer awesome scale. But donýt let that be the driving scale to buy this album, buy it to support small bands if anything. This band as gone from a little nothing known in my hometown, to a completely awe shocking fest of sound.
Awesome!.......2003-04-09
You gotta be kidding me. This is some of the most CATCHY stuff Ive heard in a while. The Transformers theme is not for fans of the once great cartoon. If these guys are still together, I cant wait to buy their next CD. This is INDEED hardcore music. I highly suggest this album, if you like heavy brutal music.

ITS DEFINITLY WORTH THE MONEY.......2001-12-16
I purchased this CD For myself and now I have sent it to all my friends for the holidays. If you like great power in your music. Get Heavy Impact. Its 14 songs of pure metal.
Its great!
They put HEAVY into HEAVY METAL.......2001-09-30
Some of the hottest metal that I have heard in years. Finally some fresh hard driving Heavy Metal that has a taste of what I love about my favorite groups but still keep a sound of there own. Definitely a band to keep tabs on, because they are here to stay.
Heavy Impact Rocks it.......2001-09-30
I love this band! Thank You for turning me on to them. I take that cd every where, in my car , When Im taking a shower its in my portable boom box, When Im chilling it's in my stereo. Please let me know when they are touring. ShockWave Rocks my world!
SHOCKWAVE'S HEAVY IMPACT IS GREAT!.......2001-09-30
I finally found a new band I love! Every song is heavy and very catchy like metal from the old days. But ShockWave isnt an 80's band at all. That guitarist Randy Young, Where did he land from? He's awesome. I think he sounds like Eddie VanHalen & Tony Iommi in one guitarist. I couldnt believe the bass player is a girl. She playes better then alot of guy's who are pretenting to be bass players switching over from guitar. The singer has a very unique voice and their music isnt depressing like every band out there now. If your like me & looking for the new Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath I highly recommend ShockWave's Heavy Impact.

Love Will Save You.......2007-06-15
About six months ago (January of 2007) I found myself absent mindedly singing to myself lines from the Decoded Feedback song, "Love Will Save You." While browsing titles on Amazon.com and looking for titles I used to have several years ago, I happened upon Shockwave and saw the song I was thinking of! So I went ahead and bought it.
I think Shockwave is much better than Overdosing, by the way. But I am not a devoted follower of the band, so their newer more accessible stuff might appeal to me more. I think this album, Shockwave is great. In my opinion, eight or nine of the total eleven tracks are top of the line, catchy and addictive. The remainder of the tracks (which may be termed "filler" possibly) are at least tolerable. I really like "Bondage," "Heaven," "Do You See," and "Nothingness." This CD is even better than I remember it from four years ago.
The feel of this music is very cold and mechanical, even more so than a lot of other EBM and industrial artists. To me, this adds to the charm, but I kind of have to be in the mood for it. All in all I would say it is worth buying. I gave it four stars insteasd of five because of the filler tracks.
An okay album.......2006-03-20
There's a few tracks here that stands out amongst others such as "Phoenix" (which riffs kind of remind me of Rammstein's music - definately a plus), "Bondage", and "Shockwave". However, my beef with this album, after listening to it several times, is that all the songs seem to blend in together and get somewhat boring. Perhaps this isn't Decoded Feedback's best cd, I don't know... this is my first cd I've heard from them. Perhaps I'm just more used to danceable stuff? Nonetheless, this is great for background music even or driving.
Flying Free and Powerful.......2004-10-13
DF's latest album, Shockwave, is a great electro-industrial album. However, it is not as dancy as I would have liked. However, this album has "Phoenix" on it, and that song is one of the best Industrial songs ever written. It is danceable, hard, dark and even catchy. Yone and Marco should get a Nobel Prize for this song!
The other songs, although not being as brilliant, are all great to listen to. Id recommend this album.
The best Indistrial Dance out there!.......2004-01-19
"Shockwave" is perfect title for Decoded Feedback's nuclear assault on the senses. Want the very best Industrial out there? Decoded Feedback is it! What I like about Decoded Feedback is their ability for a full frontal assault ("Pheonix") and their ability to convey beauty and grace with tracks like "Do you See". I keep thinking that "Bondage" and "Democracy"are the recorded thoughts of a black dragon as it soars over the land casting the spell of Fear and bringing heart attacks to the lesser beings below. "The Fruit of Wisdom" could be the soundtrack for the human battle scene between the dragon and just about everybody below dies under wave after brutal wave of attack. The mourners are left to sing "Heaven" but, look out blee-otches!, the Decoded Feedback Black Dragon could smell and sense you, so it circles back, vomiting fire into homes and your eye sockets! I could go on and on with this but I think you'll see that there's no escaping raw emotion listening to this album. It's the soundtrack for a war being fought for your survival!
One of the best releases of 2003.......2003-10-24
Decoded Feedback's "Shockwave" and Suicide Commando's "Axis of Evil" are without a doubt the two best release of 2003 (as of 10/23/03 anyway).
I was shocked by how good shockwave was, having followed Decoded Feedback for a bit now, this is by far their best CD. I guess a lot of people will call it ebm, but to me it felt darker and more industrial, more so than any other DF I have heard before.
As a DJ I have been playing two songs a lot, both "Bondage" and "Phoenix" (been playing the video for phoenix a lot recently). To me "Phoenix" is both the best song personally and for DJing, it always does really well on the floor and has a great dark grinding beat.
Any Industrial type DJ would be amiss to not have this in their collection.
