Definitive After Hours.......2005-04-28
To me, this disc defines "After Hours." I have never heard an after-hours disc, in any genre (acid jazz, regular jazz, house, ambient, whatever) that was better. For headphone househeads, this is great for reading and just chilling. In fact, I wonder if this disc is the forefather of chill-out discs. I love the luscious pink and purple colors of the disc and its cover. Every song on this disc is excellent. Don't listen to this in any situations where it is dangerous to get sleepy. This disc would be great for lovers (of all sexual orientations) as well. This is a must-have! I am a better person for owning it.

This is the best of the tribal collections. And it aint cos its tribal, it is simply the creme of those late-night / early in the morning groove thangs. Look out in particular for a great mix the funkiest of the Daou's output (never mind the famous stuff, this is the real thing); also Junior V getting tuneful. But dont hang on words - just get the labum when they EVER re-release all this stuff.
