this cd is so typical of the techno/dance music industry: throw a couple of really good tracks amongst a huge mix of garbage, give it a fancy, curiosity-eliciting title [Euromix] and charge a leg and an arm for it. There's maybe one decent track for every 8 or 9 - they really start blurring into each other - and so, yeah, i'm a little pissed 'cause I was really looking forward to it since I thought Euromix 9 was outstanding. But save your money, you'll be disappointed with this batch.

Being raised with this style of music, my opinion might be slightly biased, yet I strongly feel this is a must for every fan of dance music. I have been listening to Euromix since the first one came out, and not one has dissapointed me. This set definitely caught my attention, having 5-8, and I was pleased to see it even has a bonus CD, also mixed by Toni Monaco.
Euromix is known for carrying a load of pleasant sounds, along with a carefully picked selection. I found in this CD many hard-to-find songs, and I must say I had been looking for them for quite some time. It is not one of these collections where they add songs just to fill in spots and sell, but rather wonderfully decorated with awesome Euro beats. If you still enjoy dance music from the mid 90's, then Euromix 5-8 will NOT dissapoint you. The price is low, the music is great! As a fact, more than likely you'll come back for more.

I have Euromix 6-8 just not 5, but I have to say that Euromix8 is the best CD I've ever had! I love every song on it!! 6 and 7 are great too except for the odd song. I love every Euromix CD and plan on getting them all. I thik everyone should get these CD's they are absolutly fabulous!!!!!!!

This isn't a really bad bunch of cds. It's just that they used songs as fillers that you most likely would never buy. Like "Space Invaders" And "Mombo #5". But if your looking for music to play nonstop for hours it's a good buy. One really irratating thing on these cds is the mixer's idea that the sound of a cd skipping is cool. Maybe once or twice but they resort to this technic ALOT. So if this irratates you I would not recommend buying these. That is why I gave it 3 stars.
