Body rocking breakbeat with a line up that reads like the who's who of what's hot in the scene...

Product Description
Heavy Weight Breaks volume 3 follows on from its superb predecessors and like volumes 1 and 2, it certainly lives up to its name. Fourteen of the biggest breakbeat anthems from the past, present and future featuring the leaders of the scene and put through the DJ grinder by rising star Skool Of Thought . From chart topping hits of Freestylers ‘Push Up' (Plump DJ's remix) which went top 10 in 5 countries to underground drum n bass influenced breaks of DJ Quests ‘Gravel Muncha', the track listing has been carefully selected to represent a wide selection of styles. Heavyweight Breaks is the only true alternative to the Y4K series and reaches beyond the boundaries of breaks to fans of garage, drum n bass and electronica.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Heavyweight Champ.......2005-10-14

This album contains some of the finest breaks I have heard. Skool of Thought rocks this album hard, with a dense, thick sound that doesn't smother you.
All sorts of otherwise strange electronic sounds are barely but brilliantly kept in check with a solid loops rhythm and bass, and blended into a potpourri of tasty breaks.

Don't be put-off by the less-than-flashy cover: The music is top class, and far better than many flashy break CDs currently being released.

Put it in your CD player, put it in your car, and turn it up loud!
