Dance For LIFE: West End Records Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of LIFEbeat is a compilation of ten remixes by some of the world's top dance music producers including Blaze, Hex Hector, Masters At Work, Danny Tenaglia, Junior Vasquez, Timmy Regisford, Angel Moraes, Ralphi Rosario and influential newcomers A Touch Of Class. The CD, a non-stop DJ mix was mixed by international DJ David DePino who many remember fondly from New York clubs Paradise Garage, Tracks and Sound Factory Bar.
All tracks are contemporary remixes of new and classic West End Records singles, four of which are hot new West End projects: Billy Nichols - "Give Your Body Up to the Music" (Danny Tenaglia Remixes), Marty Thomas - "Thank You (Power of Love)" (Blaze's Shelter Remixes/Warren Rigg Mixes), Barbara Mason - "Another Man" (Junior's Discoverse Remix)/ Sparque "Let's Go Dancin'" (Junior's Discoverse Remix). All will be released as separate singles in the order listed above. The remaining singles were all released as separate 12" vinyl singles over the last two years.LIFEbeat is a national non-profit organization dedicated to reaching America's youth with the message of HIV/AIDS prevention. By mobilizing the talents and resources of the music industry to raise awareness and to provide support to the AIDS community, LIFEbeat has emerged as a leading advocate for prevention efforts directed at youth
The CD is being mastered by Absolute Audio who have donated their fee to the project.Bandlink is the first Internet-powered music CD technology, providing a direct and on-going connection between fellow fans and the artist.
