Radioactive Man

Radioactive Man

Radioactive Man

Editorial Reviews
NME
"An album proper - sexy, European, cultured, soulful and amongst the best you'll hear all year."

Product Description
The latest album out of the blocks on Andrew Weatherall's Rotters Golf Club is the debut from Lone Swordsman Keith Tenniswood, a.k.a. Radioactive Man. Between bouts of laying down the sinuous underpinning of the TLS output, Radioactive Man has crafted nine tracks of subtle electronic music tinged with heavy bass electro, influenced by all that surrounds it but with a definite swagger all its own.

Upon its UK Release, 'Radioactive Man' received many plaudits and has firmly established Keith Tenniswood as a producer in his own right, disassociating him from the Two Lone Swordsmen moniker he previously carried. 'Radioactive Man' has been embraced not only by the electro community, but also by the drum'n'bass and breaks camps, whose main players have titled his booty-bass stylings "Stadium Electro."

Some may not have the courage to listen to this "mind blowing" piece of work. Joseph can do it all. He sings like nothing you've ever heard before. His guitar playing is intergalactic. Listen to the lyrics of "I Ain't Fattenin' No More Frogs For Snakes"...do you get it now? Buy this! I shared it with college friends 30 years ago and they begged to be able to get it in 8 track!Mozart never dreamed of music like this...Joseph is in a league by himself. Thank you for finally letting the CD world hear this.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best electro records.......2004-01-18

My type of electro! Keith Tenniswood of Two Lone Swordsmen fame demonstrates his solo credibility here with his superb debut album.

Combining breaks and beats with smooth, simple melodies, Tenniswood brings all that is good about electro music together.

What made the songs on here even better are the beautiful electronic, ambient, pulsating and shimmering walls of sound Tenniswood creates behind his songs. Fans of Two Lone Swordsmen will know what I'm talking about, and Tenniswood uses this skill to great effect on this album.

An excellent, consistent electro, breakbeat album, with strong hints of electronica and IDM. One of the best electronic albums of the past few years.

Fabric 08 hears techno's changing state. Using Detroit's 'electro future sound' and the UK's 'Industrial' movement as very loose inspiration, Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man, best known for his work with Andrew Weatherall as 2 Lone Swordsmen, uses 17 tracks to create a lava-hot, headstrong trip. Metal tin packaging. Fabric. 2003.

ok, so the title's a bit off... but seriously, this album is truly decent. not too keen on the first 4-5 tracks, so i never listened to it for a week after i got it (bday pressie). but, of course i realised that i had to try it out in the best place to play music - your car! so, in particular i'm seriously loving the koma and bones tune and radioactive man's 'ave that is so feckin' good it's not funny! basically, tracks 6-14 are stunning (if you like this sort of thing of course - if you don't, then, well... buy something else!).

fabric do it again with a quality cd - this for you and your mates, jaques lu cont for party tunage. cool metal cases too!!!
