I've owned this album for over three years now, and just to clarify its greatness, it is still a great album to me. I have played it on road trips and times when I just want to really focus on music, and this album always delivers. You will not be dissappointed!

This is my favorite Guster CD yet. Saw them live in December of 2006 and they amazeed me! If you haven't yet, go see this band live. The CD's are great, but their show will blow you away!

When I bought the Like a Prayer Album back in 89, Keep It Together, for me, wasn't a stand out track, then one day I heard a remixed version on the radio that reminded me of her remix of Express Yourself, I ran out and picked up the cassette single which contained the remix I had heard and an instrumental version on the b-side. So I wear out the cassette single just in time for the remixes to be released. I looked long and hard for the 12 inch single which at the time, was EXTREMELLY hard to find. Luckily I found it and was very pleased with the amount of mixes available. I later found out that this was the first DOMESTIC cd single that Madonna would release too in the U.S. The early 90's house sound that were used for the remixes of Keep It Together was just a preview of what Madonna was going to use to blow the world away with her hit single (and my all-time fav) Vogue.

This is the CD single of Madonna's Top Ten hit "Keep It Together". It's a great song, which is a tribute to her siblings. There are five remixes of it here. I particularly like the 12" Remix and the 12" Extended Mix. Madonna fans who dig remixes should check it out.

Rewind 15 years, the year is 1989. Madonna has proven that she's no blonde fluzy and can fight it out with all the big guys. This record is a celebration of the era when we all knew Madonna was here to stay and continue amazing us with her inexplicable ability to continuouly change. Along with "Express Yourself", "Keep It Together" is a longing cry to freedom and assertiveness. Madonna once again knows how to work the styles and sounds of the late 80's. Classic and matured 80's with a Madonna edge.

      Are you a hard-core Guster fan? Are you the kind of person who doesn't speak to someone unless they like Parachute best of the albums, and scoffs at people who don't know about it being the first album? Do you think that this album isn't 'real' Guster music? I've got some news for you then. This is 'great' Guster music. This is as good as it gets. Take out your credit card right now and buy it.
      Listen to the whole CD over and over again until you can discern the name of each song when listening to it.

      Once again Guster has put out another great album and the packaging they've used on this special edition is well worth the extra dip in the pocket.       Another great album by one of the most amazing bands out there....All of the songs are good, especially "Amsterdam", which already has become one of my favorite songs of the year... I had the opportunity again to see Guster live (6/21/03), and in addition to adding this CD to your collection, if you get a chance to see them live, by all means, do so!
