not enough tactic.......2004-01-18
Be forewarned, though there are two CDs in this album, they're essentially the same. Disc One contains all the songs as they sound on the GBA. Disc Two has the same things, but how they sounded BEFORE they were compressed. Why you would want to hear the compressed versions, I don't know. It seems like a waste of money. Now the music: it is by no means bad, but I wasn't totally impressed, either. The entire album has a cheery ring to it, and sometimes it sounds like I'm listening to Disney rather than Final Fantasy. There were only about six songs that really stood out to me, but those six I really like. For those who have played the game extensively, and you liked the music, you will obviously like the soundtrack, because now you can listen to the songs as they should be heard. But for those who just like video game music (particularly FF music), there's not enough on here to recommend a full purchase.
