4 out of 5 stars A Pretty Good Song.......1998-11-16

I'm currently waiting for the single (with remixes) to be shipped, however I can tell you the album version is a good song. It's not quite electronic, not quite rock, and has a special apperance by Lucious Jackson.

5 out of 5 stars Best Bargin Bin Find Ever..........2007-01-07

My brother pulled this out of the bargin bin at FYE. We thought it would be totally cheesy but it's actually quite good. Some of the lyrics are hilarious. If you find it anywhere for less than $10, buy it. It's a great CD to blast on a long trip.

5 out of 5 stars A great album........2006-06-29

Love the dark vibe and the tracks are all killer. These are like the best dark and hard trance tracks from the past five years. Turn it up and play it loud. This CD rocks.

4 out of 5 stars Minimalist 'beats' have their devotees, too.......2006-04-12

Welcome to the dark side of technology - Goth-Tech - a post-apocalyptic nightmare rife with electro-mechanical mayhem. After being introduced to The Mind Of The Machine, the ruler of this new industrial society, spend some time unwinding underground at the Transylvannia A-Go-Go nightclub and bar, where nocturnal sociallites gather for their rituals of darkness. Unfamiliar and uncomfortable with these gory rites, try to Escape only to find that Hell Is A Dancefloor and there is no way out. When your Blood Is Pumping from the sheer terror of it all, the only chance of survival you have is to Mash It Up with the Killer on the loose who is hungry for your blood. You shout Please Save Me to anyone who might hear, only for the ever-present "big brother" to reply We're Watching You and We Know What You Did. Frantically finding a way out and running to the edge of town, you are plunged into complete darkness. They have extinguished the stars (spente le stelle). You find a clearing in the forest where you sit down to enjoy the Silence. Instead, you are surrounded by the Sound Of Machines. They are everywhere, not-so-silent reminders of the new ruling class. Powered by an unlimited supply of Kernkraft 400, their strength and lifespan is potentially infinite. In the distance, you hear the revelers chanting in worship to their new god. No, wait! The chanting is not in the distance, it's in your mind! They've got you too... Wake up in a cold sweat only to find that the nightmare becomes your reality. Your Insomnia is so bad that you haven't slept since.

1 out of 5 stars what the!??!.......2005-11-06

This compilation is a total wet fart. Most of the "songs" (and I use the term "songs" loosely) are horrible one note techno crap that sounds like the junk I used to hear fifteen years ago at the local skate rink on Friday nights. I am a huge fan of listening to bands I've never heard before in hopes of discovering cool new music, that's why I bought this comp. The description of this album was supposedly a mixture of goth and techno, two genres of music which I absolutely love. Sadly this misses the mark by a mile. The only band I'd heard of was Sunscreem, and unfortunately, that song is the only decent one on here. Most of these songs are six minute dance driven boredom with cheesy "Houston, we have a problem" voice over samples, no lyrics, and no chord or rhythm changes. I could fart better music than this on the crapper. No wonder I've never heard of any of these bands, they all suck and should remain unknown. Don't fall for the cool cover or the name on the CD, this is possibly some of the worst garbage ever released. Goth Tech?? I pictured bands like Imperative Reaction, Assemblage 23, Das Ich, the Birthday Massacre, Angels and Agony, etc... Just avoid this, it's worthless!!
