About the Artist
Features the track "Smoke" by German-based Murgatroyd Trio and a remix by trance/downbeat Pulsetrain as well as an original track by Pulsetrain. Spanish guitar and sweet beats dominate Areaman's "Elbow" and a female Indian vocal sample sounds perfect over the beats and mellow horns of CueMark's "Meena." Think Thievery Corporation meets Portishead. Also not to be missed are the reedy male vocals in Situ's "Back of My Head" or blissful album ender "Notch" by Misora. Pick it up.
Product Description
The first downtempo compilation from Two Words Records features a killer jazzed up beaty track from the Stuttgart-based Murgatroyd Trio and a smooth remix of the same track by Canadian-born downbeat trance artist Pulsetrain. Both on level with the best K&D has to offer. The track "Dean Wigs" is featured in the indie film "Gravity" and is superbly dubilicious. Don't miss the chilled out Boards of Canada-esque track by Texas-based visual artist Anjou. This little disc has something for everyone...from lovers of Zero 7 and Air to the smoked out beats of the Vienna sound.
