FM Tonight is a good album.......2006-12-14

Tonight sounds good, and has some great 80's pop songs, especially "Dream girl" and "Just like you".

It's the same divisions, prog vs. pop a la Yes "Big Generator". These people ignore that it might be better pop than a lot of others.

I LOVED THIS GROUPS MUSIC UP TO AND INCLUDING CITY OF FEAR. BUT THEN THEY GOT RICK OKASEK FEVER AND RELEASED THIS ABSOLUTE HEAP OF GARBAGE. SOUNDS LIKE A POOR MAN'S CARS...THIS MAKES TRAILOR TRASH LOOK GREAT...THIS IS ABOUT AS BAD AS IT GETS...SEE PHIL COLLIN'S SOLO ALBUMS...NEOPROG RAN WEPT FOR DAYS WHEN HE HEARD THIS..WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED? "Tonight" is not only a bad "FM" CD, it's one of the worst album I have ever heard!
They even tried Beach Boys' "Good Vibration". Maybe that was FM's sense of humor?
This is a very bad mixture of AOR-pop-rock-prog-DISCO.
Buy it, and have a good laugh......

The Only CD Of Dollar's Original Recordings Available!.......2000-04-24

Dollar were once big stars in the UK, and had 14 hit singles in the late 70s and throughout the 80s. This CD is currently the only one available which features the ORIGINAL versions of some of their best tracks.

Their entire debut album 'Shooting Stars' is included here (except for an instrumental track), as well as 6 of the chart singles. The singles (except O L'Amour) are all from the Carrere label days (78-79) and are some of Dollar's best. Shooting Star (UK 14, US 74) is the only one to reach the US charts, but some of the other UK hits such as 'Who Were You With In The Moonlight' (UK 14) and Beatles cover 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' (UK 9) are more memorable. Their other hit present here 'O L'Amour' (UK 7) was from their late eighties comeback.

Sadly, their best known, Trevor Horn produced hits (from the early 80s) such as 'Mirror Mirror', 'Videoteque', and 'Hand Held In Black And White' are not included due to problems with WEA, who released them originally.

Also missing are the other UK singles from the late 80s (We Walked In Love, Haven't We Said Goodbye Before?, It's Nature's Way) which showed why Dollar were a big hit in the clubs. Oddly, some of the B-sides from these tracks were included instead! Some of the other tracks are interesting to hear though, such as the never released final Dollar single 'Sugar Sugar' from 1988.

Overall, this CD is worth buying for all Dollar fans, it's just a shame they couldn't have included more of the better known tracks too. Oh well....It's Nature's Way!

People who buy this CD and complain - Please realize - it's your fault that you didn't check the Track listing! These are just two awesome songs that make the awesome album, and I you don't look at the track listing, don't complain that you got "ripped off". It ends Tonight is a great song, as is Dirty Little Secret. However, I would moreso recommend the Move Along Album. Now only if they could make a remix...

ONLY TWO SONGS... It was misleading, so much money for a CD with only two songs on it.. It did not tell you that any where until you open the CD..

This in my opinion, is one of J.Lo's best singles ever released, and obviously, the best single to REMIX! The remixes that appear on this mix are phenomenal! They transform, an already good song, to an even better dance track. The best, overall, is the "Hex Hector Momentous Radio Mix". Lopez did in fact make a remix video with the track, and this is a hot track! The "Futureshock Midnight At Mambo Club Mix", is great as well. The title may not make since abit, but this mix makes up for it. Here are the individual overlooks:

1. Album Version - The album version is always great! Good beat, pretty good lyrics, and it's a great party song! One of Jennifer Lopez's 1st singles, and definitely one of her best! - 5 Stars : A-

2. Hex's Momentous Radio Mix - What A Remix! It gives the song a completely new twist! Orginally, from a bumpy, drum filled pop track, into a beat-pouding trance mix! The vocal effect are great, but edited down to about 4 minutes, when the original Club Mix is 11:17. But still, the best mix on the CD! (and, one of the best Hex Mixes of all) - 5 Stars : A+

3. Futureshock Midnight At Mambo Club Mix - Another great mix! This is very different from the Hex mix, entirely! The music is totally cool! The beat is great, and it matches the song so well! It is one of my favorite mixes of ALL Time! - 5 Stars : A+

There you have it, very short, very sweet! This is definitely recommended to all Jennifer Lopez fans, and all remix fans! The Hex Mix, in it's entirety, can be found on the "Feelin' So Good" domestic single, as a bonus track.

Is this the version for you?.......2000-05-29

Like many fans of Jennifer Lopez' "Waiting For Tonight," I have exhausted myself searching for the remix that accompanied the re-edit of her music video. I discovered this version on an Australian import titled "Waiting For Tonight: The Remixes." Based upon the track listing on my copy, one of the remixes are featured on THIS single, the UK CD#1. However, reportedly, the track listing for the Australian single is typographically incorrect. Based upon what I BELIEVE is the Future Shock Midnight at Mambo Remix, I would recommend purchasing this single if you are unable to located the aforementioned Australian import. However, THAT copy is a MUCH better bargain, for it features five FANTASTIC remixes. Regardless of the correct titles or song durations, every remix is unforgettable. I should also mention that, for those interested, "Waiting For Tonight" is available as a domestically released 12" vinyl.... available here at Amazon. It features the following tracks:

I simply adore Jenifer Lopez, and the mixes in this CD are absolutely enjoyable! A must have for every fan.

SINGLES! WHEW! You must becareful and read the import labeling. It is a good mix this one...but alot of people are looking for the extended mix like in the video. Or the Australian version. The extended version is the one that the video is modeled after (Hex Hector Mix). Grab the Australian version if you can. Each of her singles each from different countries have a rare mix on them. One includes stickers in the single for you to have...but you will have to find out which one! :)

Good alround album, some great versions , I must say that i was surprised how Elvis came across in some songs as not really being into them.Still if youve sung them so many times its hardly surprising>This will still go in my live collection and being a big fan iam buying Dragonheart too!!
