This album is some really good, mellow Intelligent Dance Music [IDM]. Not as hard or random as Autechre. If you are a fan of Boards of Canada [BOC] I think that you will enjoy this too. Its less ambiant than BOC and less random, but still very good. Since it isn't as hard and has a more consistant beat, its something that you could listen to while driving or turn down a touch for some cool background music. I do enjoy the really out there side of IDM, but its nice to find some IDM that has the techical beats, but isn't so crazy that it is hard to enjoy with non-IDM fans.
