A Few Good Songs.......2001-03-07

I'll actually go as far as saying that this CD is a must have, but only for one reason and one reason only: Latin Nation's "Tu Eres Mi Vida" is one of the greatest freestyle songs of all time. Latin Nation is obviously a real freestyle group committed to doing real freestyle. The rest of the CD is rather sub-par like most new skool compilations or maybe Latin Nation being so dope makes everything else look so wack. There are, once again, too many space fillers on the compilation. The only other note worthy songs besides Latin Nation are Elissa's "Don't Say" and Nick Colon's "Solemn Tears". Maybe if Artistik's compilations had more than 3 quality songs, more freestyle headz would buy them. No wonder a lot of people would rather hear the mix tape which has the one or two standout songs along with 58 other slammin tracks from other labels cut up by a real street style DJ. Instead of trying to hate on real DJs with skills, Willie Valentin should devote his time to making his music better or at least more in tune with the streets (which is what started freestyle).

This is a great CD. The beats will keep your subs pounding (hopefully without blowing them) and the mixes are very well done. Willie Valentin is great. I recommend this CD to all freestyle fans. The Spanish songs bothered me a little bit because the beats are so nice and they're not in our language ! But that's ok, still a great CD.

this cd is gets 5 stars because once agian will has done a great job of finding new talent and producing the music on here is so good it will keep u movin and he has tribucentral anew group ther song is hot and the producer(pete othman) did an outstanding job this is one to look 4 guys
