Warning. This is not a new CD like Amazon is misrepresenting here(December 26, 2006). If you look at all the reviews they go back to July 1, 2002.
Now, I would only recommend this CD if you are using Apple iTunes and can delete songs. Rip the CD to iTunes using the AIFF setting. That's non-compressed. Remember, compressed music is destroyed music. Also never download music as that is super compressed. Always buy CD's. But, if your reading this on Amazon, you probably already know this piece of wisdom.
Now, in my opinion much of this CD just doesnt work. The beats are to fast for the Enigma vibe, and there's a lot of cheese going on as well. Also, some of the dance music beats sound dated from 5 years ago.
That being said, there are a few tracks worth buying this CD for, and adding to your iTunes.
Return of innocence (380 Midnight Mix) is super hot, I would buy this CD for that one track alone. Also TNT for the brain (Midnight Man Mix), Mea Culpa (Fading Shades Mix), Principles of Lust (Everlasting Lust Mix) are good.
So I like 4 tracks, delete the rest.

So it's 1990-something and I'm 20-something...and life is good. I'm crankin up the stereo to Enigma's Sadeness Pt. 1 from MCMXC a.D., or I'm dancin' to Return To Innocence from The Cross of Changes at my favorite club. Now, fast forward to today: I'm 30-something, and life is STILL good. I may not be dancing the night away at the clubs, but I'm still crankin' up the stereo because Sadeness Pt. 1 AND Return To Innocence have been revamped. Enigma's U.S. release of Love Sensuality Devotion: The Remix Collection makes me think about my old special friend in a fresh, new way. In this nine track compilation, there is a little something for everyone - Enigma fans past and present. There is a nice mixture of electronica meeting trip hop for those who rave the night away to good music. "Turn Around" has a great beat with synthesizer effects that also gives an ambient, new age edge for those who just wish to relax and meditate. For me, the artistry behind the music of Enigma is still very much a mystery, but one thing is for certain: the fact that they have consistently turned out great beats is NOT a mystery. This album is a collection of greatest hits with the remixes of signature songs like "Age Of Loneliness," "Principles Of Lust," and "Mea Culpa" that I find is easy to listen to whether I'm chilling, working, driving, dancing around my house...it is music that fits in with everything and transcends time with its fresh approach.

This is an essential Enigma collection with reworkings of all their greatest stuff. It's fantastic to listen to and to dance to. I have no "Sadeness" for buying this album.

Vancouver techno-pop enterprise Delerium may be most widely known for getting Sarah McLachlan played in dance clubs; the famed songstress lent her vocals to their 1997 hit "Silence." DJ Tiesto's familiar dance-floor overhaul of the tune sets the pace for the double-disc compilation Odyssey, on which a procession of remix artists chop tracks from Delerium albums Semantic Spaces (1994), Karma (1997), and Poem (2000) into lengthy workouts. The selections favor straight-up disco and house over the sort of ambient experimentation that might have been culled from the original material. But the dub-styled "Flowers Become Screens (Return Mix)" and--on the spacier second disc--a goth-tinged take on "Silence (Fade's Sanctuary Mix)" offer a breather from the collection's rather athletic nature. Besides a clutch of previously released tracks, Odyssey also includes rare mixes of "Underwater," "Euphoria (Rabbit in the Moon's Divine Gothic Disco Mix)," and "Heaven's Earth (Matt Darey Remix)." Prior to this album I had never heard of Delerium. This album totally won me over though and now I love Delerium. This is Trance at its BEST. Even though there are multiple remixes of some of the same songs they sound completely different. I personally prefer a lot of the remixes on this album over some of the originals. The music is very fluid, constantly evolving and ever changing, it doesn't stay the same for long. If you like trance and electronica at all...this is the album for you.

I love this album. It's one of my favorite albums EVER.

The remix collection is great especially if your checking the group out or if your a fan already. Fantastic. All their releases from Sematic Spaces to Odyssey - The Remix Collection, Best of and the newest, I'll refer to it as NAGS DE' MORE, not the actual title but apropiate as dance fans and all their fans have speculated about the condition of Leebs & Fulber since Chimera. Practically everyone who as assisted with the vocals ect., is on this album. Leigh Nash, Sarah McLachlin, Kristy Thrisk, The Mediaevel Babes, On and On and On. I Misspelled Sarah's, name but you'll get it down pat with this CD, only wish older albums morpheus, stone tower, faces, forms & illusions were this good (with the vocalists I mean), the albums would still be in print and worth the money.

Many know Cascada by the popular songs "Everytime We Touch", "Miracle", and the dance remake of Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply". And, the producer- Yanou- most will remember orchestrated the dance remake of Bryan Adams "Heaven" back in 2002.

As the story goes, UK vocalist Natalie Horler- lead singer of Cascada- was originally a studio mixer on the sound boards and Club DJ before she accepted the offer to Lead sing on a project invented on the idea of Yann "Yanou" Peifer. Yanou was already famous for `Heaven'. When it was discovered that Horler could sing, Cascada was born.

This CD actually is Remixes made by Horler, when she was a studio mixer and DJ for a dozen different UK Dance Club artists, before she agreed to do the Cascada project with Yanou.

The sound is very similar to the current Cascada rythems that we are used to by Horler these days. Even though I did not know most of these artists or songs before I heard this CD, there are some really good mixes on the disc. If you like Dance & Club music, or, if you like Cascada- You WILL Like this too!

What a waste..........2007-05-24

2 Un-Break My Heart, 2 Spanish Guitar, 2 He Wasn't Man Enough and the rest are only 1 song but what happened to the other songs that wasn't in this album even after Ultimate album came out?? There are ALOT of missing songs in this album!! If I want to listen to Remixes I would listen to Mariah Carey, Madonna & other singers Remixes album because they have all the songs in their album except this one. This album has 3 songs that has the same 2 songs in it is pretty as waste!! If I want to buy 1 song with different remixes I would buy maxi-single instead of this album.

Outstanding, but..........2005-12-31

I'll say this album is off the hook, but the songs are attached and followed up, so you can't really difference when a song ends of starts. Anyway, it includes good remixes and rare ones. Some were just included in 12" singles or were never released.

Toni Braxton's Sexy Songs finally turn into Dance Hits.......2005-10-01

this is a hot cd. i love all of the songs and the most of the mixes are pretty long. this cd's also made into a non-stop mix. my five favorites are "Un-Break My Heart(Soul Hex Anthem Mix)," "Spanish Guitar(HQ2 Mix)," "Maybe(HQ2/Dynamix Mix)," "Spanish Guitar(Joe Claussell Mix)," and "You're Makin' Me High (David Morales Mix)." i remember hearing the soul hex mix for un-break my heart many years ago on the radio and i always wanted to own it. this cd is definitely for dance lovers out there.

She's baaaaaaack! 6-time Grammy Award-winner Toni Braxton has one of the most exciting hits package to come along in a decade. The reason being, it's not your typical greatest hits package. This is a great mix of Ms. Braxton's work in the past. AND IT BEING A CONTINUOUS MIX that seems to flow like silk into each song is done very good!

The only thing "bad" about it is that Un-Break My Heart and Spanish Guitar were each used twice, but besides that, this mix should get you going. Makes me want more and more of Mrs. B with her new album coming soon!

Hit The Freeway / He Wasnt Man Enough / Youre Makin' Me High are all good ones in my opinion on this one!

This CD is very valuable to me. I have been crazy in love with Boy George for years, and it's so hard to find the (12" single) version of the song 'The clock' in all albums, I'm still tryiing hard to search for it. And now although this album has only got the original version of 'The clock', I do like the quality of this CD & many other songs with different versions inside, so I decide to buy it. Don't miss it if you like Boy George.

Giving a new spin to Atlas.......2007-04-20

This is the second remix album I ever got (after DJ Cheb I Sabbah's "Maha Maya:Shri Durga Remixed." I still enjoy it.

While it has repetitive clunkers such as 16B's remix of "Amulet" and Spooky's "Duden",it is,overall,a fun new spin on the music of Natacha Atlas.

Talvin Singh,pioneer of the Asian Underground,gives an Indian sound to "Duden" (he also collaborated with Madonna in her great "Cyber-raga")."Yalla Chant" gets three marvelously diverse new versions.The Youth remix is throbbing,perfect for the dancefloor.The Banco de Gaia remix is serene trip-hop.The Transglobal Underground turns it into trance-like bellydancing.The Bullitnuts version of "Bastet" is alright.TJ Rehmi pares "Amulet" down to its basic elements.

"The Remix Collection" is perfect for those who already have the music of Natacha Atlas (and can listen to the originals),and as a further exploration into Arabic dancefloor music.

Wonderfully imaginative and refreshingly musically creative.......2005-08-21

This maybe a "love it or hate it" album for Natacha Atlas fans. I loved it. It is musically creative with perhaps a more minimal vocal element; but Natacha's vocal presense is, as ususal, ridiculously beautiful. The electronic music aspect of the album is highly enjoyable and fascinating...If you like electronic lounge music with middle eastern sounds and rhythms, along with Natacha's wonderful voice, then you would perhaps really enjoy this album. I find it to be a gem.

Natacha kinds of mixes !!.......2003-04-17

I have the French limited version of this album, which includes the remix of the hit which push Natacha to the godness of French market: "Mon Amie La Rose".

Clearly, this is not a Dance Remix album, but more expermental, search for the boundry of Natacha'a music. Natacha herself had put efforts in this album, therefore I believe it does not "obey" whatever Natacha had done in her pas albums. You can easily find this attitude in the album Natacha worked with her husband "Foretold of a Dream".

I like the remixes of "Duden", they had extended the mysterious feel of this song. And of course the remix of "Mon Amie La Rose" is terrific. I would recommand anyone who really understand Natacha's world to own this CD. It will let you get into her world even deeper.

A surprisingly dull and unimaginative group of dance tracks.

I was introduced to Natacha Atlas' music through her album GEDIDA, which included a lively and varied mix of music. It seems to me that she's sold short by dj's who believe she should be used as one of a handful of instruments on these tracks, which are all glorified drum-machine solos with Atlas and synth-strings turned down low in the mix. I don't really think this qualifies as a Natacha Atlas album since her voice is only employed as a gimmick.

I really can't even pinpoint one or the other of these tracks as a highlight; except for differences in tempo they are virtually indistinguishable from each other.

Masta Ace has been rapping and constantly maturing for a long time now, and with each transformation, he has continued to stay credible in the eyes of Hip Hop heads everywhere. This CD focuses on the early to mid 90s Masta Ace. Masta Ace Incorporated is the nickname given to the clique of rappers surrounding Masta Ace. This lineup includes Bluez Bruthaz member Lord Digga, vocalist Paula Perry, and Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Leschea. Together they would work on 1993's SlaughtaHouse and 1995's Sittin' on Chrome. Remixes are sometimes better than the originals............2005-08-25

I love this album and have for many years. The remixed versions of "Uhh Ahh," "Hey Lover," and "I'll Make Love to You" are worth buying the whole CD for. Much better than the originals if you are a true R&B fan. It shows a much more 'adult' side of the group.

This is a smooth mix with some decent guest appearances. Very well put together, this is one that any Boyz II Men fan should have in their collection.

Well, this is a wonderful disco remix of Falco hits. Love it!!

Mostly good remix collection.......2006-05-12

I'm a big Falco fan from the early 80s, from the minute I saw videos for Der Komissar and Zuviel Hitze on MTV. This remix CD will disappoint if you are looking for the "Salieri" version of Rock Me Amadeus or the extended American remix of Vienna Calling. They are all new 1990s "club versions" and, while not as good, are mostly still enjoyable in their own right... Well, tracks 1-7 are all good but the rest are awful, IMO. Get this album if you are a die-hard Falco fan and not just a fan of his American hits because most of the songs are in German language only.

Reviewing This 13 Years Later.......2004-10-01

By all means, this CD is a piece of trash for the most part! I bought it when I found it in the store back in 1991 when it was originaly released new. Not alot of people really know this was out way before he died (see other reviews). First off when I bought this I was expecting the original 12" versions of all the tracks. Then I get it home and pop it in the CD player and I was in shock! Turns out it was all new updated remixed crap versions of most of his tracks with the exception of 3 tracks. "Emotional", "Data De Groove" and "Sound Of Musik" are the original 12" versions and Jeanny Pt.2 is just the regular LP version. Only reason this thing even got a 2 star rating from me was for putting the 10 min version of "Sound Of Musik" which I had on vinyl on CD which is basicly just the full length version which didnt make it to the original LP. Was a sad shame that this is all that remained in print on CD in the US from Falco other than the poor Greatest Hits compilation from a few years back after he died. By all means if you want a good Falco collection on 1 CD get the import version of Greatest Hits. Or if your a fan, hunt down the entire discography on import or hunt for used USA CD's of "Emotional" and "Falco 3". Or if your like me and bought all his LP's on vinyl in the US when they first came out and they still in mint condition..keep your LPs..cause this CD is a joke! Wonder what Falco actualy thought of this when it was released?

I AM a Falco fan! Have been since 1985! I did NOT buy this because it is readily available here in the states. I did NOT buy this because I wanted Rock Me Amadeus on cd. (I already own all his music on cd.) I DID buy this to hear REMIXES of some of his best stuff! I DID buy this to hear Rock Me Amadeus sound completely different from the original I so loved! (And still do!) I can't believe all the fuss over this! NOTE: If you prefer the originals (and yes I do too) then BUY them! (as I did.) If you wish to hear Falco remixed and updated then buy this! And Jeanny is in fact excellent here- very epic! 5 stars for a change of pace! Falco Forever-R.I.P
