Customer Reviews:
not acid jazz but still funky.......2006-11-08
The other reviews are correct when they say that this is not an acid jazz disc, but if you are like me and dont care at all about music labels such as Jazz, rock, blues, soul, classical or whatever. You just enjoy good music that makes you groove regardless of the so call genre then this is the disc for you.
Agree with the rest..........2005-09-24
MoS can be good, or it can be not so good. This compilation is not-so-good. Not-so-acid jazz, not-so-well-mixed. Keep looking...
not acid jazz.......2005-02-20
This is not acid jazz! If you want a good acid jazz compilation you better buy the "This is Acid Jazz" colection, or if you just want one great compilation, buy "The Very Best Of This Is Acid Jazz, A 10 Year Celebration".
Should've made it one CD.......2004-12-07
There's a lot of good tracks on this two-disc set but there's also a lot of "filler" tracks that clearly aren't Acid Jazz Classics (they might not even qualify as Acid Jazz). They've taken one CD's worth of material and expanded it to two discs, meaning that good tracks are sandwiched in between inferior tracks. My suggestion is if you buy this CD expect to make a compilation out of it to get that toe tapping and to save having to press the "next" button.
