About the Artist
Bolivar brings almost 30 years of experience in the music industry to his diverse performances of Reggae and Island music. He toured the United States for five years performing concerts sponsored by the Jamaica Tourist Board while his recording, "Woman A Genal" was a number-one hit in Jamaica.

This versatile performer has an active Fan Club and over 23 albums to his credit. His latest releases are "Rivers of Babylon", "Magic Moments," and "These Islands" released in September 1999. The Connection are four most talented reggae musicians, Pluto Shervington, Trevor Lopez, Denzil Douglas and Mario Smith.

Bolivar performs live throughout South Florida and has a large following in Miami, on the Gulf Coast and particularly in the Florida Keys.

    Island Fever gives you the fever of being in the fun, relaxing atmosphere of the Florida Keys. I first discovered him on a trip to the Keys. This CD has a great instrumental and vocal sound enhanced by the steel drum. The sound quality is excellent. You will want to sing a long and dance!

      I bought this CD as a risk because I was looking for tropical type music for my classroom and I found a gem. As an adult I enjoy listening to the music. My students and own children love listening to the music. Not only does the songs have a good rhytmn that makes you want to dance but it also have a soothing beat that helps one to relax at the same time.

      This CD by Gary Richard is truly brillant. Bird calls, guitars, mixed with rhythms of Cuba, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and more make this a sexy listening enjoyment. Lots of brass, steel, drums, marimba and percussion. Beautiful love songs, wonderful beats, make it fabulous.

        This is an illegal bootleg release. Buy 'The Complete Bob Marley & the Wailers 1967-1972', parts 2 and 3 (from JAD Records) or Bob Marley & The Wailers albums from Trojan Records instead, if you want to have the songs on this album. JAD's and Trojan's releases are legal, and the sound quality is often much better on their albums. Also, if you buy the box sets from JAD, part of the money will go to the Bob Marley and Peter Tosh families and Bunny Wailer (the three original Wailers).

        This album is so beautiful. Go Tell it on the Mountain brings tears to my eyes. Corner Stone has made me a better person, Don't Rock My Boat is a sing-a-long and Stop That Train stays with me for days. My five year old also loves it.
