Produced by Kurt Bloch of Fastbacks fame, Red Planets' Let's Degenerate bears more than a passing resemblance to Seattle's heroes of all that is pop punk. Mining that vein with an enthusiasm that borders on pathology, Red Planet deliver another '77 punk album for the millenarian kids who just can't get enough. To say these guys kick ass would be to state the obvious. With should-be hits like "Wasted Teens," "Heavy Sedation," and the ripping title track, Let's Degenerate belongs on the rack next to Too Much Too Soon and Singles Going Steady. Buy up, punkers! --Ike Bolton

"Get Back at You" and "Wasted Teens" are so catchy that you will never stop singing them. They will stick in your head like bubblegum, but never lose the sugary sweet flavor. I'm sold on this record, it's totally great! Kudos to the spot on ROCK production by Fastbacks kingpin Kurt Bloch.
