Harsh, disjointed machine music. Real industrial. Holocaust Theory meld grinding, mechanical, rhythmic noise with intricate layering techniques...

Amazing Sophomore Release - Hopefully Not the Last?.......2000-08-09
For Inception of Eradication actually surpasses Proclaimed Visions. How? Well, for starters, it's nothing like said debut. It doesn't have a hint of the cold darkwave that comprised the first album; rather, it's an evolution of the sound into icy, sludgy power noise - heavily distorted rhythms, in a nutshell.
No, this isn't noise like you'd find in a Merzbow or Aube album. It's more like electro driven through a shredder and given the shock treatment; it's now slower, heavier (the bass work is amazing, both mutating and captivating), and fuzzier, with electronic sizzles all across the spectrum. It's not like any other power noise act out there, likely because this isn't pure PN.
It's sad to hear what an original album this is. Its dark and ominous nature perfectly supports the realization that this is the last Holocaust Theory album. After only two releases, the duo called it quits. And after hearing this, the only thing I can say is, "Why?"
