3 out of 5 stars Not the greatest.......2003-06-14

Cd2 very good though with tracks like runnin, ppk, gotta though there real classics. Also a loved that song belivers, lalala land and most the others very good trance and house songs not bad.
Cd1 was noway as good not great mix of will i and catch and be cool is a cool song but its was not good on this mix.
Ministry Spring annual 2002 so much better.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible!! Really boring compilation from Ministry.......2002-10-03

Clubber's Guide to 2002. From the title, I thought it would have the biggest tracks of 2002. Yeah it does have some big track but very very few. And once again they had to include Ian Van Dahl's overplayed "Will I" and Daniel Bedingfield's annoying "Gotta Get thru This" track. It's an okay compilation for beginning Ministry of Sound listeners but the big problem is that the most time you will probably listen to it or crave to listen to it is just one or two times. And for the import price, it is just way too much to pay for this big load of fecies. If you have a local Hastings Music Store then just buy this there since it is only 8.99 compared to 30.99 bucks.

5 out of 5 stars ADDIICTIVE!!!!.......2002-03-19

I have bough this cd about 3 months ago and cant get enough of it!!! Honestly, I havent listened to the trance cd which is cd 1 a lot, but cd2 whihc is house is SIMPLY AMAZING!! i carry it with me wherever i go, I listen to it in my car, in my place, and i even take it to vacations:)

If you want a party cd, this is the ONE! do not miss it! you wont regret.

5 out of 5 stars It Kills.......2002-02-08

Though I am normally suspicious of compilations, anthems and such, you will not miss with Clubber's Guide 2002. At first I thought it was good, but nothing innovative...

But then, let me put it this way; I was listening to the first disc at the gym a few days ago, and CG2002 was so good that I almost CRIED...

2 out of 5 stars Downhill for Ministry?.......2002-02-08

This compilation was incredibly generic and hugely lacking in originality and innovation. The beat washes forward like an ocean shorline bringing nothing of interest in with the tide. There are more lyrics on this offering than previous Ministry productions (such as Trance Nation 1-4 - excellent CD's). This CD also seemed to lack ambition, new direction and momentum. The songs, a distinct "3-years-ago" feel to some of them, progressed slowly without anything really happening to produce waves of exhiliration. This is a weak CD that I would not recommend to people who usually like Ministry's stuff.

4 out of 5 stars Got Bass?.......2002-07-22

To some snobs of electric dance music, drum-and-bass and two-step may seem "so three years ago." But Ministry of Sound, who have yet to disappoint, has released this strikingly good collection of some of the fiercest, bass-heavy grooves around. Disc One is a collection of drum-and-bass tunes, while Disc Two features 2-step beats and rhythms. Each disc clocks at around 75 minutes, and both are impressively solid. The mixing is well done, and both discs never wear out their welcome. A common affliction with most compilations of this nature is that after 5 tunes, the songs begin to sound the same. Not here. Ministry of Sound makes sure that the listener remains hooked by featuring some of the most interesting basslines and frantic beats. Some feature vocals, while others are purely instrumental. I played this on my stereo with the bass turned way down, and it was STILL kickin'! That's how bass-heavy this collection is. If your addiction is bass, then Ministry of Sound has the fix for you. Set the controls for the heart of the bass!

5 out of 5 stars I'm certainly 'addicted to bass'!!!,.......2002-02-23

This has got to be one of the greatest album's ever, it has classic and new releases, from so solid to the ganja kru, underground to overground, it has everything. the 2nd cd is more commercial garage and features alot from the pure garage compilations (4 and 5 especially) but it compliments the first cd very well, this is gonna be the sound of the summer, if you dont have this cd go out and but it now, trust me, you'll be playin it till the next ones released !!!

5 out of 5 stars In the book "awakening to zero point" we have been alerted to listen for certain tones.......2006-10-12

This cd has a way of stimulating the subconscious. Secondly the subconscious (thru cellular memories) recognizes these tone which have some connection to the announaki (or angels). The entire cd is full good but yet deeply mysterious energy. Very specifically " naked in the rain" by Blue Pearl and "I know love" by New Atlantic appear to be demensional door openers.

5 out of 5 stars Superb Techno from early 90's.......2002-10-28

When my brother bought me this album for XMAS I was a bit hesitant - the title is a bit naff and the cover is a bit [drab].!

However, this is 2 CDs of the best early 90's dance music. I doubt any of this won any grammy's but I don't really care. I turned 16 in 1990, I went to university in 1992. This music reminds me of my mis-spent youth. I love it.

Its not too hardcore - altern-8 and the prodigy are about as hard as it gets and even those mixes are not as hard as other mixes I have.

If you yearn for those days when you wore a surgical mask to a club this is album for you!

as a huge drum and bass fan i surely do reccommend this album to all drum and bass fans. if you want to experience the early drum and bass era, buy this cd. some classics like original nuttah, (which they still play in raves today!!!!), champion sound horizons, and space invader.

4 out of 5 stars Very Nice!.......2002-03-30

I picked up this album in London recently--was looking to expand my collection beyond the trance and house that seems to have taken it over--and I am quite pleased. If one CD comes out of my car stereo, it's only so that i can put the other one in. I'm fairly new to D&B, and these CD's definitely spiced things up a bit.
