Right in step with ObliqSound's motto of "Music Without Boundaries," the label introduces The ObliqSound Remixes - a dance remix project.

ObliqSound commissioned a handful of prominent DJs/Producers to put their personal signatures on tracks taken from the label's premiere release - The ObliqSound Sampler. The ObliqSound Remixes features the likes of Chris Brann (Ananda Project/Wamdue/p'taah), Freaks , Riton, Waipara Wan, and German newcomer Paul Tietze (who has remixed Renovation Unlimited's "Summertime").

The ObliqSound Remixes also introduces the premiere release of the label's Vocal Series by New Zealand born Maori artist Tama Waipara. Chris Brann and Freaks have remixed Tama Waipara's "Felise" (inspired by 19th Century poet A.C. Swinburne). His premiere album will be released on ObliqSound Spring 2003.

The ObliqSound Remixes will also be available on 12" vinyl.
