    Great selection of laid back yet funky tracks perfect for partytime ... shaking. It's a few years old now but if anything has improved with age. No bad tracks so it's a great CD to stick on when you have friends around. I luuuuuuuuuuuurve it... :)

    I stumbled onto the Dope On Plastic series by accident about ten years ago. The first four are really the only ones worth looking for, but they are doozies. I think two is the best, and that's it's nearly impossible to find. ...I've managed to find three and four since then but am still looking for one and two. Anyway, if you ever come across these dics just grab them on impulse. They will twist even the most capable system to it's limit with heart pounding electric fun.

    p.s. extra fun on a good car system, an essential after clubbing set

    More lush breaks from the REACT label. More of a latin funk feel this time. Capoeira Twins stand out as usual. Look for the limited edition which features a couple of extra tracks. It's an essential post clubbing CD that is over sooner than you want it to be.

        This album rocks. It is the first in the series that I bought and now I am hooked on the Dope on Plastic name. I can't quite put my finger on what kind of music that it actually is, but in this case, I actually think that is a good thing. It is very groovy and upbeat, but not too upbeat. Perfect for parties, cooking and long car trips. Two big thumbs up!

        Definately old school, and very funky, React again bring us quality complilations. I enjoyed Dope 6 more than this one - it had more tunes you could bounce to. Dope 8 is more chilled and has a distinct vinyl feel about it. The album is well put together with some classic tracks from Kitachi and United Eye - this is a great background CD keeping you funked for hours.

            This is a great CD, I bought it after having read a review for it in the Abercrombie Quarterly, I'd never heard any of the songs before but this is a dope CD (hence the name) I suggest you buy it.
