5 out of 5 stars A Great Into to Orbital.......2005-05-23

I don't know why they call this a bonus CD version, as it really only adds one track, the Chime (Live Style) mix. Since the main part of the cd has been reviewed on its own page, I won't bother here. Silly as it seems, I'll just review the bonus track. It's not that long, and not that different from the version of Chime we all know and love. There's really only one main difference: it's faster. It sounds like they just sped the song up. This doesn't sound terribly impressive, but somehow, it makes the song even better, more dancable. But that's always been Orbital's gift. Some bands need to have 5,000 different things going on to hide the fact that they don't know what they're doing. Orbital's always been great at having only a few lines going in a song, but making them all so great and so complementary to each other that it doesn't matter. So yeah, they can manage to just speed up a song, and have it sound totally different. This version also appears on one of the Rest and Play singles, so it's not like you have to get this version, but if it comes up, go for it.
