About the Artist
Dizzy X's high octane takoff uses no formulas at all. Instead they offer a blend of abilities,styles and enthusiasms uniquely adapted to themselves on their debut album, "Tales from the Iron Pillow". This Los Angleles based songwriting/production team "jokingly" admit they originated by putting all of the letters of the alphabet into a hat. Then, after carefully shaking the letters in the hat, Lizzy X picked blindly and plucked out the letter P ! Thus marking from that moment on that "the Dizzy X influences would be any awe inspiring musical act that started with a "P" - like Prince and Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd and Parliament or Portishead and the Police!!! As Dante says "thank the lord we didn't pick the letter "I" !! Then it would be like Iron Maiden and Indigo Girls...and that combination could possibly suck!"
Dante- has performed and recorded with Slash, Chaka Kahn, Andy Summers (The Police), Pancho Sanchez and film composer Trevor Rabin. He also can be heard singing currently on TV commercials for Nissan, Budweiser and E-Bay!
Lizzy X - as a singer has toured with Mick Jagger to promote his "Wandering Spirit" album. She can also be heard dueting with Janes Addiction's Perry Farrell on the Sony release of "The Prayer Cycle." Lizzy X is a featured vocalist throughout Tricky's (formerly of Massive Attack) upcoming album as well !
