    I know Duran Duran earned every sinlge dollar I put into the purchase of this CD! The single "Sunrise" is the best song to wake up to! Some of the words are identical to what I think! If I could REACH UP FOR THE SUNRISE, I would! As a Mom of three, it's exactly what I would want all of my children to feel! So, Thank you Duran Duran! A Definte 5 Star CD!

    Among the singles that sprung from the latest album, this one - in its various incarnations - is a rockin' upbeat number that pleases at many levels. However, for 13 American bucks it would have been nice if they had combined versions 1 and 2 and sold them in one pack. Give us at least 10 mixes of the song if we're gonna drop over ten bucks.

    In Search of Sunrise is remarkable. Track after track the sweetness just refuses to leave me alone. The opening is epic and makes me get goosebumps. Tiësto has a made a powerhouse of an album. This CD is ridiculously satisfying to drive to. Oh man, Tiësto is just the man. Calling Your Name is bliss. All of the Sunrises and all of the Magiks must be heard. But this one - this is absolute essential trance. No one can top this.

    This Cd is a great start to the ISOS series...even though I am writing this review long after i bought the cd...I think it is fair to say that this CD is still one of my favorites....I own ISOS 2 which i consider to be another great CD....I just heard ISOS 3...it sounds great...can't wait to buy that too...
    TIESTO PRODUCES GREAT MUSIC.

    tiesto has long defined the genre, fitting more into a mold than any other top notch dj out there. while digweed may have gone through a 'heaven scent' uplifting phase, he's now more clearly defined as the gu019 digweed with the dark sinister grooves. tiesto, on the other hand, has continued with the uplifting trance that first made him famous, even to today.

    now, with the huge wave of progressive sweeping the dance world, this style of uplifting trance may seen a little outdated, but the truth is that euphoric trance is still alive and well. this is one of the few cds that should be instanteously identifiable, with the slightly lower bpm yet highly visceral trance music that clearly defines tiesto.

    female vocals all around on this cd, adding to the effect. a definite work to cheer you up.

    tiesto's best work. five stars.

    All i can say for those who dont have this cd...you must buy this cd!! This is in my top 5 best. Tiesto's song selection and mixing is off the chain on this cd and the beginning mix is the best ive ever heard...probably my favorite Tiesto cd.

    I purchased this CD after hearing samples and bootlegs of Tiesto's work. I enjoyed his heavy beats, visualistic trance, and his style.
    I have to say this CD is perfect for anywhere. On the beach, at home with friends, in your car, in clubs, parties, and dances. I recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys trance mixed with ambience.

    I've always loved "Sunrise" when it comes on the radio. The song appears on the "Home" album, but I was never interested in buying an entire album of Simply Red's music. (I think he's OK but not great.) I finally broke down and bought this "single" when it became available at a reduced price.

    In addition to the well known radio version of the song, this CD contains two alternate "Sunrise" mixes, the standard music video, plus another video on the making of the music video. The CD also includes a self-installing Quick Time video viewer for PCs that don't already have that software loaded. Unfortunately, the music video turns out to be a pointless and awkward series of scenes of an aging Mick Hucknall singing in the company of hot young women at a pool party that adds nothing to one's appreciation of the song.

    What's interesting about the two alternate "Sunrise" mixes is that they both dispense with the radio version's background music sampled from the Hall & Oates classic "I Can't Go for That," and substitute house/disco dance-type background tracks. These versions are OK, but like a lot of dance music seem overly long and repetitious when played for listening rather than dancing. The main impact of these mixes is to make you realize how genius the original marriage was between Sunrise's wonderfully catchy melody and I Can't Go for That's irresistible beat.

    The bottom line is that the radio version is the only real reason to get this CD. It's just a great catchy pop tune. If you like Simply Red's music in general, you'd get more for your money by buying the "Home" CD. If, like me, you just want this one song, I recommend you hunt for a discount price before you buy.
