Everything that Al Gromer Khan does is great, but this CD really stands out and is very hypnotic and trance producing. The CD is great for meditation or being with that special person. It ebbs and flows thoughout the CD. It has very interesing textures and riffs through out. An excellent CD on many levels

What can I say? I heard Forgetting Evelyn and was hooked.

Soon after I bought the album from itunes. I didn't regret a thing.

Every single song on the album is great. My personal favorites include 'I Know', 'Fall like a star', 'Forgetting Evelyn', 'Where have you been hiding', 'Everyday James Dean'-- in short, the whole album.

Great find, great music, good job retrospect!

I strongly prefer Disc 1 of this 2 CD set, both its Rainforest Suite & Sea Suite being equal favorites. They're suitable for relaxing background music, or falling asleep by. Each piece is about a half hour long. If you don't hear anything at first, wait...the tiny cricket sounds of the Rainforest Suite gradually rise in volume and fall into the background of gentle musical notes. The ocean in the Sea Suite comes up in gradual washings of the shore. Some ways into the piece there are haunting notes reminiscent of whale song.

I've loaned/given these as gifts regularly, and the receivers have been captivated.

Disc 2 I am not so keen on, but know a few people who do like it. I find the sound effects distracting and the sudden change of tone (threatening stormy undertones to outright happy rain/rainbow)annoying.

    This is the most spiritually and emotionally moving album I have heard in many years. Everything about the CD is superbly done, but more importantly as a cohesive unit it is a masterwork. The songs range from light hearted, witty, enchanting, rocking, to intimate love songs, all bearing the signature touch of the artist. This CD is truly an amazing achievement for a solo artist, one that I don't think will be dated by time.
