      This IS without a doubt the best 'Acid Daze' volume of the three that's been released.The twelve-minute "Watchfield Festival" is like an extended track of unrehearsed sounds coming from the stage(picture in my mind is the band perhaps took five caused by equipment trouble and you can hear the wind blowing through the microphones)among other unexplainable noises.A couple of cutting-room floor edits of "Earth Calling","Magnu" and "Angels Of Death" make 'Acid Daze,Vol.2' just that much more desirable.The last tune "Douglas In The Jungle" totally blows.I refuse to believe that Dave Brock would even waste his time penning/messing with THIS bad a song.

      Pretty much like 'Acid Daze,Vol.1' and 'Acid Daze,Vol.2' discs,the trilogy ends here.Another CD compilation with cutting floor material(as some might call it).Has three pre-Hawkwind blues cuts by a solo(?)Dave Brock when he was apparently playing as a street musician,"Dealing With The Devil","Bring It On Home" and Came Home",plus some vintage Hawkwind gems like "Space Is Deep","You Shouldn't Do That" and "Silver Machine".Obviously aimed toward the completist.

      When I first got my copy of this disc,I guess I was maybe 'sort of' thrilled mostly because it was,I believe my 8th Hawkwind disc I ever bought.I was a tad blown away,at first by the cover,but seeing that it was,in fact an import I went ahead and bought it on the count that it was low-priced.True,it is pretty much a second rate compilation and it certainly IS cutting-room floor material.Maybe I just liked having a slightly different version of the tracks "Space Is Deep","You Shouldn't Do That" and "Silver Machine".You Hawkfans KNOW what I'm talking about,with the way that Hawkwind sometimes has like up to ten(10)different versions of certain songs.For die-hards(hee-hee Beavis,you said 'hard')ONLY.
