As expected both generations, Father and Son, have decided to combine energies with knowledge. The son bringing fresh youthful ideas and the father with his many years of experience have created their own personal interpretation of a true morning Trance set. This album integrates the power and force of Soma, with the groove and the melodies of Momi. Spun. 2005.

All-Time Favorite.......2007-01-12
This album has been number one on my all-time favorites list for many, many years. Nothing can top it.
Tony Carey is so ahead of his time on this one that it's astounding. Some of the sounds are absolutely haunting, while others inspire joy and hope, while still others impart great sadness.
Pink World is a "rock opera" that tells the story of a young boy named Artemis (or Artie) who drinks some toxic water from a polluted river. He gains super-human powers and builds a "zone" (or "barrier") to shield his followers from the nuclear holocaust that occurs. His oasis proves not to be much of a sanctuary, however. He employs cameras and strict security tactics to keep his followers in check. He ends up vanishing at the end, a "little pink pool" the only trace of the once omnipotent Artemis.
Buy Pink World, you will not be disappointed.
Sounds just as great as it did 20 years ago!.......2006-03-18
I was in 10th grade when this CD came out,and I ended up wearing my brother's tape out! It is a fantastic CD, it is so great to hear it again after so long. I really like Tony Carey's voice and this CD has vocals and a beat that is so fun to sing to.
You won't regret getting it!
What a Perfect Place!.......2006-01-15
This is an amazing concept album that is worth every second of every complete listenthrough! Back in my youth this was one of those amazing albums that I would just get lost in and totally absorbed in the sweeping story and brilliant orchestration. Ok, I'll admit that I was high, but it's still brilliant! It all blends together to create an amazing post-apocalyptic vision of messiah-like little boy with amazing psychic powers, who is "just 'A Boy Who Can't Talk'(Man I love that song!.
This would make for an amazing animated movie, (I know I watched one several times on my eyelids as I listened to it). I'm in fact listening to it again as I type, I've had it on my mind for days now and finally I have the time to listen to it straight through. If you're able to find a copy (even if you have to buy one of those ancient artifacts called cassettes) this album will take you to a "Perfect Place" "Behind the Barrier" and you will hear "What I See."
Pink World - Amazing Musical Imagery.......2005-08-04
For me, I'll be honest, this is some old music, originally made in the year I was born. Thanks to a very close friend of mine I've gotten hooked to Planet P Project but most of all, Pink World.
This is an amazing masterpiece of musical imagery. It tells a story of a boy, deception, destruction and hope. Through all of these tracks it lays out an amazing story with solid morals for times past and to come. At first, trying to understand the story was difficult, but it is well worth paying close attention to. Not only is the story told amazingly this way, the music only adds to the atmosphere of what is going on.
The only thing I like just as much as this CD is another song not on this CD but I feel closely relates somehow to the story by Tony Carey, "The Red Door". For anyone who is interested in music that does more than just sound good, but tells a story as well, I highly recommend this for the newer generations or the older.
Spellbinding trip to Another World.......2005-05-10
Spellbinding is the best way to describe Pink World and Planet P. The time and effort as well as the number of reviews listed for this largely unknown album is a testament to the overwhelming power of this artwork. Pink World is like one of the stereophonic photographs that most people can't see the hidden image. But for those of us who can, it's so intoxicating you can't stop looking at it.
There are about 5 songs on here that have utterly mezmerized me for 20 years. The Stranger, The Shepherd, Letter from the Shelter, One Star Falling, and Baby's at the Door. I took these five, added in the the many captivating interludes, and combined with my favorite cuts from the original Planet P album and Blue Highway, and this collection has been in my constant rotation since I found it 20 years ago.
Among the beautiful poetry, the insight, the vivid musical landscapes, and the amazingly creative and unique music of Planet P, one thing that stands out to me is the unusual meter drumbeats. Very otherworldly! Where does he get this stuff?! Tony Carey clearly is an alien.
If you are a true believer and haven't heard it, get Blue Highway. It is the "Final Cut" of PW, and clearly Tony's third best album (I have them all).

Celebrate a century of hits with Jive Bunny.......2002-03-21
Some may see this as a shameless attempt to cash in on the new millennium (it was originally released in November '99), and it probably is! Still, it was the best Jive Bunny album released for some time so it deserves a mention. This 3xCD set features seven megamixes devoted to a particular musical decade (except the first track) and samples no less than 76 songs. "The Biggest Party On The Planet" may not be to everyone's liking. Even so, if you're into nostalgia and like to party, then you'd be well-advised to purchase this CD set. And so to the review...
Track One (1900-1940s Mix): If the Master Mixers (and this is the original mixing team) intended the album to be sold world wide, I find the insertion of this megamix somewhat baffling. Confusing, in the sense that unless you're familiar with pre-WWII London (England) culture, this megamix won't mean much to you as it features all those infamous 'drinking songs' from a bygone era. These are the songs you'd no doubt hear being played on a piano while everyone sung along. An early version of karaoke, I guess! In all fairness, this megamix is quite mediocre. And it does sound as if it was recorded in one take! (Track Rating: 2/5)
Track Two (50s Mix): One of three megamixes on the CD set that really stands out for me. This homeage to rock n' roll sees Jive Bunny return to their roots, and even if the megamix can't compare to the smash hit, "Swing The Mood", it's one of the Master Mixers best efforts for a very long time. Of course, fans of Jive Bunny already know they use sound-a-likes to re-create these classic songs. Still, when the tracks used are by such legends as Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Everley Brothers and Bill Haley (to name but a few), you know you're guaranteed an excellent dance track. And that's what this is. (Track Rating: 5/5)
Track Three (60s Mix): Inconsistency is a word I tend to use when I review a Jive Bunny album, and this track proves my point. Without being too harsh, this tribute to the 1960s is absolutely awful. That particular decade produced some of the best songs ever recorded, yet Jive Bunny seemed to have chosen the ones most people tend to forget. Even samples from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and Roy Orbison (again, to name but a few) can't save this megamix from being the worst track on the CD. (Track Rating: 1/5)
Track Four (70s Mix): At least the Master Mixers have the knack of bouncing back with excellent mixes, and this is the second on the album. Journeying back in time to the decade taste forgot, this megamix emphasizes on the BIG pop hits of the Disco era. And if you want to play this at a party, what better way to get people on the dance floor than this megamix featuring such 70s greats as ABBA, The Bee Gees, Frankie Valli and Hot Chocolate. It's not the Master Mixers best 70s megamix - the one found on "Hop Around The Clock" entitled "Pop Back To The 70s" is far superior to this. But it sure beats a lot of what they've done recently. (Track Rating: 5/5)
Track Five (80s Mix): With the exception of several songs sampled on this 15 track megamix, this tribute to the 1980s actually focuses on British Pop Music. Even so, you've probably heard of each and every track used here. Everyone from Wham! to Duran Duran, Madness to Adam And The Ants, Spandau Ballet to Kim Wilde and The Communards to The Housemartins are sampled on this megamix. The US influence comes from Madonna, Kenny Loggins and Billy Idol. Incidentally, if this is supposed to be a tribute to 80s (British) music, why has Frankie Goes To Hollywood been ignored?? Also, this 80s Mix is actually the extended version of "Mix Up The 80s" which can be found on the "Hop Around The Clock" CD. (Track Rating: 5/5)
Track Six (90s Mix): I'll never get used to Jive Bunny mixing recent tracks, and this collection from the latter part of the 90s (again, mainly UK hits) is something of an oddity. And to be perfectly honest, the tracks used leave a lot to be desired. Still, younger listeners will be able to recognise these samples more than they will the ones found on the 1900-1940s Mix, proving there really is something here for everyone. Unfortunately, I found this megamix rather lame. (Track Rating: 2/5)
CD3: The Millennium Party Mix is actually just a CD single which was meant to be Jive Bunny's first single release in eight years. It didn't happen, and it isn't difficult to understand why. This is awful....no other words can describe it. Based on the equally bad "Crazy Dances" from the "Hop Around The Clock" CD, the Master Mixers have the nerve to sample "Swing The Mood" and "That's What I Like" amongst these terrible sampled tracks. This is definitely a CD to avoid! (Disc Rating: 0/5)
Overall, this is a worthwhile addition to your CD collection, but there's a few of these mixes you'll no doubt want to forget. I did...

Customer Reviews:
Slinky is club not a person!.......2005-02-13
Igor (see other review) your comments are interesting but just to correct you Slinky is not a DJ, its a club night based in the Opera House nightclub Bournemouth UK, which happens to be 5 min down the road from me. Its always mad for me whan I see that their CDs are sold over the world, it just feels like my local bar for me (with a great soundtrack of course). This CD is a good snapshot of what was being played a few years back.
This is one of the best CD's you can buy.......2002-02-11
There are a lot of good tracks on the CD1 that I had never heard of before the day I buy the Cd...you must buy it!
illuminating party experience.......2001-10-28
This album is a lot of fun...- heavy blows of hard-core progressive trance and techno. Slinky plays variety of great, extremely well mixed music, even though some tracks don't sound extremely innovative. He does what needs to be done however: he pumps adrenaline into your blood, puts you on your feet and makes you dance.
This double CD set is great if you want to turn your home into a club. I am a fan of hard clubbing, a person who generally doesn't find most of Ibiza compilation CDs satisfying..too popsy... A lot of them are spoiled by stupid lyrics that I often find not necessary- especially if it's a sweet woman's voice singing love nonsense put against hard beat(I don't mind when lyrics are haunting or dark- it fits the music style, get it?- again, it's only my personal preference- you might find it appealing). It happens here too- unfortunately in the most crucially important moment- the beginning.. "I need to have you near me"- she starts and for a moment you think "What the...". Luckily, Slinky gets back on a track soon and corrects that mistake by using a very limited amount of vocals, otherwise I'd shoot myself for buying another "cheese-ball" as I call them. Slinky is not as sophisticated as Sacha, Nick Warren or Danny BUT you can hear that he truly enjoys what he does and it's so important because you definitely get the vibe! Ultimately, you just dance mindlessly through both amazing CDs......
