A Few Good Songs.......2001-03-07

I'll actually go as far as saying that this CD is a must have, but only for one reason and one reason only: Latin Nation's "Tu Eres Mi Vida" is one of the greatest freestyle songs of all time. Latin Nation is obviously a real freestyle group committed to doing real freestyle. The rest of the CD is rather sub-par like most new skool compilations or maybe Latin Nation being so dope makes everything else look so wack. There are, once again, too many space fillers on the compilation. The only other note worthy songs besides Latin Nation are Elissa's "Don't Say" and Nick Colon's "Solemn Tears". Maybe if Artistik's compilations had more than 3 quality songs, more freestyle headz would buy them. No wonder a lot of people would rather hear the mix tape which has the one or two standout songs along with 58 other slammin tracks from other labels cut up by a real street style DJ. Instead of trying to hate on real DJs with skills, Willie Valentin should devote his time to making his music better or at least more in tune with the streets (which is what started freestyle).

This is a great CD. The beats will keep your subs pounding (hopefully without blowing them) and the mixes are very well done. Willie Valentin is great. I recommend this CD to all freestyle fans. The Spanish songs bothered me a little bit because the beats are so nice and they're not in our language ! But that's ok, still a great CD.

this cd is gets 5 stars because once agian will has done a great job of finding new talent and producing the music on here is so good it will keep u movin and he has tribucentral anew group ther song is hot and the producer(pete othman) did an outstanding job this is one to look 4 guys

This album is one of the hottest cd's to come from Artistik Records. They always put out the best Freestyle. Willie Valentin has adapted to the new sound of Freestyle and has mixed his own style to acheive a westcoast meets eastcoast flava. You wont be disappointed. I cant Wait for volume 2.

Great Freestyle CD I Love It.......1999-08-11

Great job Willie Valentin, I must admit that your work is excellent. I'm an old school fan but I love your work and I started listening more to the new school of freestyle because of you. Freestyle Mania 1 I loved it I love Freeze's song Memories and he came back with another great song in Freestyle mania 2 So Many Ways, I like Elissa's song I just really like all the songs in both CDs they are all just great. Keep Freestyle Alive, Freestyle forever!!!

VERY GOOD NEW FREESTYLE ALBUM.......1999-07-23

I have to admit something. I am a Huge fan of old school Freestyle music. TKA, CYNTHIA, COVER GIRLS, JOHNNY O, GEORGE LAMOND ETC... I thought that the newer stuff was really cheesy. but i have to say Artistik Records breathes new life into FREESTYLE MUSIC. The songs are great. the Singers CAN sing and the music is good too. Now all we need is to see these songs on KTU and the Artists performing like back in the days. I'm glad i took a chance to pick this up. I'm gonna get all of the other Artistik Freestyle albums now. I missed out on alot of good Freestyle all these years. This Willie Valentin guy reminds me of producers like Mickey Garcia, Elvin Molina, Tony Garcia, Chris Barbosa, Andy Panda and the Latin Rascals. He's definately got the flavor. I hope he keeps pumpin the tracks.

Great songs, great singers, great music. Elissa's song is so pretty. So is Alison's. Go out and get this cd. Good job Willie Valentin. Keep doin what you're doin. Artistik is the best.

It's da bomb and I have it at home and my people here enjoy it too in Connecticut. Keep it pumpin' with great voices and beats....thats what counts.
