Has its moments.......2004-07-04

Rommel can but toghter beats like no other. He shows this off once again in "The Colony of Sluts". However these beats are accompanied but some of the worse lyrics youll hear, and some of the most horrid vocals youll witness. There a few terrible tracks as well. The first few tracks have a very dance feel to it, but the CD leans more and more towards trance with every track. If you like that, thats kool, but im not a big fan of trance at all. A few too many songs are just a bunch of 5 second sound clips rearranged in different orders & played over & over again. The whole fact that I can tolerate these trance like sounds is a testament to how good this album truely is however, cause i actually hate trance. Cant say its a bad buy, but i cant say its a good buy either.

Beware the defective CD.......1999-12-14

The Cd is great. There is enouggh erotic, hard crunching synths in this CD to please any techno buff. Rommell, the mastermind behind it all, once again shows everyone the future of music. Beware the defective CD though. On the first run of the CD there are countless digital errors and a missing track. There are really 11 tracks on the CD, I promise. If you happen to have one of the defective CD's you can send it to Hypnotic Records and they will gladly send you a corrected version, plus maybe an extra goody. But please get the corrected version for your own sake.. you dont know what your missing.

transmutator =the best !.......1999-12-01

transmutator is a veary good side project of the band: 'Razed in Black' I have heard of a lot of bands in past years and present. NONE like transmutator.They combine very dance-like beats with harsh mutated sounds.All trax are very moving and energetic.My favorites "auto drip grind" and "crazy lady". The weird thing is on my copy, it is missing a track: "purification: extended mix" the last track, # 11.Concluding transmutaor and razed in black are two of the best sounds out today. Better than anything on lets say MTV! instead of going out buying stuff like Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock, pick this up beacause its alot better!
