Customer Reviews:
I love this CD also.......2005-10-29
Just like the review before this one. You do need to be open-minded musically, that is to say willing to listen to music outside of typical mainstream radio. It is a fantastic CD.
The Best CD On The Face of the Planet.......1999-12-04
This is the best CD I have ever heard. I stole it from my father after he claimed it sucked. He was so, so wrong. It's full of wonderful acid-jazz artists. The vocals in "You Are Heaven Sent" are absolutely fascinating. They have such an ethreal quality- coincidence? Lambs "Cotton Wool" is delicious driving music, and "Underwater Love" is as sexy as a song can get. But the highlight of the album is Lewis Taylor's "Bittersweet". This is one of the most beautiful, brooding songs of all time. At first you're going to be like, "What the heck is this guy doing?" But if you sit through the song you'll understand what I'm talking about- it's grand finale is heart-wrenching. Music doesn't get any more powerful than this CD.
