You really get your money's worth on this one. "Sexyback", the original edit, is terrific electronica. On this one you receive the original version (Explicit) plus the following excellent mixes: Linus Loves Remix, Poker Face Remix, Tom Novy Ibiza Dub and the Director's Cut of the superb video. Highly recommended as this one breaks new ground for Justin. Sexy!

I like the beat, the words are stupid. Funny when did it become cool to like Justin. When he was in nsync everyone talked about how his high pitched voice was so horrible. He hooks up with some black guys and all of a sudden he's cool. Well the fans of nsync always knew he had a good voice so ha!

Pretty nice collaboration........2007-07-05

This is one of the funkiest bands of all time in my opinion. I really do love the SOS Band. They made some very nice tunes back in the day, especially when they hooked up with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. That's the best thing they could've ever did. Songs like "Do you still care, Weekend Girl and Just be good to me" still stands out to me to this day. Those are timeless classics and i still jam them ocassionally. I wish the record labels would go on and release all of this group's individual albums on cd. I would still like to have the title cd "Just the way you like it". I just recently got a hold of their cd title "On the Rise". It cost me a nice penny, but it was worth it.

Although this collection is NOT as varied as their "Greatest Hits" CD, this CD does boast the full-length versions of the following:

I paid $14/US for the disc. Great songs! Great value, as I paid $14/US for a new disc. Five stars!!

SOS Band is one of the greatest R &B groups of the 80's.......2003-11-15

Every time I hear this album or any other SOS album it blows my mind all over again! The first song I ever heard of theirs was "Tell me if you still care" and I was hooked. I can't believe that more of their albums have not been re-released on CD. I mean can we talk about jams like, "Sands of Time", "No Lies", "Weekend Girl", "Just Be Good To Me", the list can go on and on. I grew up around the corner from Flyte Tyme Studios and was lucky enough to get Sands of Time on CD, don't pass this up!

I've always thought this was an enjoyable guilty pleasure, but the combination of Pet Shop Boys, one of my favorite bands, and Liz Minnelli was a masterstroke.
And this reissue is a must-have: from the remixes to the music videos on the DVD, since it is PAL won't play on a US NTSC television but will play on a PC, this is a great slice of 80s dance music and takes me back to the good old days.

Don't believe the region 0, this is true PAL format and won't play in US players........2006-07-26

This is by far the best thing Liza has ever done which is why I bought the original CD over 10 years ago.

The reason I bought this CD/DVD is for the DVD.
I made the mistake of allowing the previous "0 format" post to sway me to purchase this. That is false and anyone in the US needs to wait until a true region 1 or 0 coded disc is made for US.

Surprisingly strong !.......2006-06-23

The first I heard of this album was way back on a music video channel where they were counting down the worst videos of the year. The big prize winner was "Don't Drop Bombs" from this album. When I heard it I thought "this is so bad that it's good". The song kept playing in my head until I reluctantly bought the cassette (at the time). I thought, "at least I'll have a good laugh". Quite to the contrary, each song on this album is very strong. I instantly became a fan with the engaging and catchy tunes contrived with the assistance of The Pet Shop Boys. Very contemporary. The vocals are great and the biggest surprise of all, the sad and reflective ballad "So Sorry I Said" is quite haunting and one of the best ballads I have ever heard in my life. It's the kind of melancholy that you can't resist. Give this one a chance, because what at first seems bad is deliciously good-a guilty pleasure indeed.

I'm a huge fan of Was Not Was.For you folks thinking you found Ozzy's song Shake Your Head from the out of print album Laughing at Tornadoes think again.This is a new remix and nothing like the original at all.Otherwise it's a great collection.

The CD is titled "18 Greatest Hits" but they're not the original recordings. They're re-done and they are HORRIBLE. Nothing against the genius of Duane Eddy, but if a giant evil eyeball comes from outer space and destroys all of his recordings except this one, DON'T BUY IT!!!

I knew it was too good to be true... I didn't realize it when I ordered this CD, but theseare NOT the original recordings. In tiny letters on the back of the CDit says "the tracks featured have been re-recorded by the original artist." Don't be fooled and don't make the same mistake I did (unless you like inferior recordings). You're much better off getting the more expensive but much much better Rhino set "Twang Thang: The Duane Eddy Anthology."

Michael Jackson is a timeless Musical Genius. He Owned the Last Century. Dick clark got it right when he gave MJ the Award as Artist of the Last century. nobody before or since captured the whole World's Musical Complete Attention as the soul Brother from the Dirty of Gary Indiana. these songs showcases His Greatness for Decades upon Decades. His Vocal Range&ability to adapt to Musical changes highlights a Genius without Limits. Michael Jackson is the "DON OF MUSIC" period. Michael back in the day was a Event all unto Himself. there aren't too many artists who cover as much Ground as MJ past or Present. He changed the game of Popular Music. these songs made me go and get Penny Loafers and get my dance on. these Songs reprensent a wonderful time in Music. without Michael Jackson I wouldn't even really care about Music. he was that Cat that Made a Brother truly appreciate the Art form to the Highest form.

Evelyn "Champagne" King has a strong Voice&alot of these Jams still are Hitting.Her Range covered alot of territory. She hasn't gotten her due as a Artist to me. She was able to roll with the changes in music&still bring it Musically."Love come down" is still tight as is "Shame". the cool thing here is the full uncut versions which make it so cool.this is the best collection of Her Hits Material to date.

YES...All the hard to find Good songs.......2005-04-01

I am so happy this came out. All the hard to find Best song from all of her albums, something like 7 albums she did for RCA. What i like best is most songs are the Album versions. The edit songs you can find on any of her best of CD. Out of Control, to shame,, all the best songs are on this CD. She evan has songs from the Album that came on in 1980 "Call ME" and that was not her best album. This is worth every cent and more.

The very best ECK favorites album.......2005-03-30

I only heard of this album because I requested Amazon.com send me any word of new releases by Evelyn Champagne King. I am very frustated because the only time it pops onto the the Amazon.com website is when I reference it in a strict specific way. Otherwise it doesn't exist. It does not exist to the general public. I am writing this review partly to challenge this odd circumstance.

This is the album to get if you love Evelyn Chamnpagne King's music. It does not contain biographical notes or extended pictures, beyond what's on the covers of the three 3 CD's. Musically, however it has the more than you can ever expect, more than twice the songs as any of her other 'best of' albums, all the prior ones, plus three more of my personal favorites. These three, they probably were'nt 'hits' but I love them are "Don't It Feel Good", "Makin' Me So Proud" from the 'Face to Face' album and 'Make Up Your Mind', from her second album.

So if your old ECK albums are starting to wear out, buy this and record it into your computer for posterity.

There are a few of my favorites that are only in the old vinyl format, but I can't complain too much. This is a very broad sample. (okay. I will complain in a little way, it does not contain the one about 'God Almighty' in an early ablum or 'I'm Just Warming Up', or a couple of others, but it DOES have 42 songs).

I have one serious criticism. Only her RCA albums have been recorded into favorites albums, or reissued. She put out some beautiful songs under the EMI label. Some of these as good as her earlier music, such as her rendition of 'A Change is Gonna Come' and they are being lost. I will absolve RCA of blame, and put it all on EMI.
