Excellent Album for Beats, but don't be fooled!.......2003-04-30

I bought this thinking it had something to do with the Chemical Brothers (title of disc, font used, etc) -- it doesn't. It DOES have an almost eerily similar sound, and definitely hits all the beats you like to hear out of the big bass. Beat fans will love it -- but those that JUST want a Chemical Brothers CD, move along! You really should take a listen though...

The Chemical Window marks the debut release from Blind With Rain. Synths, drum machines and distortion meld with acoustic guitars and ambient textures. Throw in some manipulated vocals along with a verse chorus verse structure and you have industrial influenced music reminiscent of Stabbing Westward, Skinny Puppy and Nine Inch Nails along with a pinch of Aphex Twin's experimental edge.

Blind With Rain's unique sound covers a much broader spectrum.
