This album features a lot of guest vocalists, with BT delivering his trademark vocals on a brand new love song, 'Break My Fall'. 'Can You Feel Me' is a deep and hypnotizing track where Julie Thompson adds the flavor. Julie is best known from the dancefloor smash 'Nothing' by Holden & Thompson. Central Station.

        I don't know what mixes the first two reviewers are referring to, but it definitely isn't 'Elements' mixed by Seb Fontaine and Tony De Vit. Anyway, I happened to come across this CD in a local record store and immediately grabbed it. To be honest, while I repect the skills of Seb Fontaine, he's never been on my 'A-list' of upper-echelon DJ's. The name that caught my eye was the legendary Tony De Vit. I thought that I had already owned all of Tony's mixes. And, as I'm sure you all know, he won't be releasing any new ones. (Not on this side of the bright white light anyway!) So, as soon as I walked out of the store I popped the first disc (Seb Fontaine) into my car stereo and began driving. All I have to say is that I kept driving for 2 and a half hours with the stereo at deafening levels. Both mixes can be adequately described in one word: AWSOME! Seb Fontaine's mix is, by far, the best I've ever heard from him. While it does include a handful of tracks that have become certified 'trance anthems', you have to keep in mind that this CD was released in '98. The mixing is well done & the track selection is impeccable. In fact, Seb's track selection is what originally kept him out of the 'A-list' that I mentioned before. Too many of his mixes contain tracks which seem to just fill space between the major crowd movers. Not on this one though. This mix flows smoothly from one great track to the next culminating at the end in an incredible progressive house mix of the Sugerhill Gang's 'Rapper's Delight'. (That's right, I said the Sugerhill Gang! Whether you love that song as most do, or hate it, I can assure you that it's an absolutely bangin' mix. I HAVE to find this one on vinyl!) Seb Fontaine really out-did himself with this release. It just may be enough to push him into the same catagory as superstars like: Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Dave Ralph, and, of course, Paul Oakenfold. Needless to say, as soon as the last beat from 'Rapper's Delight' hit my speakers, I was already reaching for Tony's mix. As usual, Mr. De Vit did not disappoint; although, unlike Seb's set, I don't believe that this is his best work. (I just don't think it's possible to top the energy-filled tracks on his Global Underground Tokyo mix.) In fact, this CD really can't be compared to any of Tony's other mixes. Unlike the furiously paced Nu-Energy style of his GU mixes, or the slammin' hard house style which can be found on the likes of his TRADE release, this mix mostly dances a line somewhere between Nu-Energy and strait up house. It's uptempo yet flows smoothly from one track to the next. I have to say, I was pretty amped to get such a different set from the king of thumpin' beats & basslines. I urge every fan of great trance & house to pick up 'Elements' IMMEDIATELY!

        Yo yo yo what up? This is DJ walnutz from the chicagoland area. When I jam out this cd in the clubs, people go off. DJ Phil Rampulla tears this mutha out. Marc Mix is nasty too, plus that song Primo is tight. This cd is a must have for any Crivelli and Stabile fans also, they have a few songs on here.

        This cd set is phenomenal. A must have for all house and club fans. DJ Phil Rampulla is relentless with the track listing and mixing styles. The set is perfect especially the first cd. Artists such as 2cooldave and freshlou appear. Also with a guest appearence by the mixmasters brother Marc, makes for a memorable hit. By this cd.

              yes he was and he is still playing a bass guitar within the band until today! this cd is two LP albums in one: Elements and the Mask 1983, which Glover produced and sang himself in 1983. The Elements album was played in a full of orchestration and female voices, but on THE MASK, Roger sang himself on the whole tracks!
              A MUST for all DEEP PURPLE fans around the globe!
