Miambient is an excellent ambient-groove collection culled from the vast archives of WOMB, an Internet radio station from south Florida. Showcasing a number of different artists, Miambient is a seductive, down-tempo affair featuring jazzy, blunted beats and dub-style electronics. Some of the more notable artists included are Coldcut, Stryke, Warp 69, and British DJ Chris Decker, who was responsible for that inimitable Goa-trance compilation, Return to the Source. Regardless of the identities of the talented musicians appearing on Miambient, this blissed-out mix contains well over an hour's worth of continuous music. Each cut flows effortlessly into the next and even includes some trancelike interludes courtesy of the fine folks at WOMB. Chilled-out electronica at its best. --Mitch Myers

Soothing Sounds & Silky Grooves!.......1999-06-26
Miambient, the most excellent chill out album, use it to get your groove on, use it after a long day at work, use it after a long night of clubbing, use it to meditate. But most importantly use this album. Top notch. Track two, the UK's superb Coldcut, is a name you'll be sure to recognize. But the track that soothes me with a beat reminiscent of my heart is track six, IT'S NO COINCIDENCE by Brave New State. Miambient, soothing sounds, silky grooves and subtle music, for the open minded.
