It's a sad day in the history of techno when the first "electronica supergroup" is formed. UMO (Unidentified Musical Objects) is ... made up of German artists Kerosene, Khan, Jammin Unit, Adel Dior, and Terrible ... but this album comes across as cluttered and over-saturated with too many loosely connected ideas. The occasional experimental interlude and subtle downtempo tracks are quite nice, but as a whole the album lacks any real cohesiveness. Even after multiple listens, none of the tracks made it past ... short-term memory.
