4 out of 5 stars Salute to America.......2006-07-27

Very similar in quality and music to I Love A Parade and a very upbeat reminder of why we are a patriotic nation. The arrangements and quality of the songs are great.

4 out of 5 stars A good choice but..........2005-06-29

It is not the best CD that I have bought but it is an honest one. The orchestration is good, the choice of tunes is excellent and the tunes are well played. As you know, it is always difficult to say : I like it or I hate it because hearing a CD is a question of personal point of view. In my case, I may not say that I like it or I hate it, I prefer some other orchestration but it us a good CD.

2 out of 5 stars Ho-Hum.......2005-06-08

I wanted some rousing marching music. This album is half asleep. The sound quality is poor. Apparently Mr. Williams writes better music than he conducts.

5 out of 5 stars "Boston Pops".. Alway's do the Job!.......2001-10-03

John Williams/Boston Pops.. Salute to America.

And they do! They salute America! This is a wonderful C.D
Battle Hymn of the Republic, is great..

New York, New York, will bring tears to your eyes!
12 renditions in all..

All these are performed wonderfully, and well worth the money!

I would recommend this to anyone who loves patriotic music, it will stir the heart and soul of Americans....

5 out of 5 stars Full-Spirited.......2000-09-02

I'm a classical music/opera person for the most part. But I find this CD entralling. Even the organization of the CD is ideal-almost like a symphony--with the rousing Candide Overture and the musical medleys at the beginning, the patriotic songs as the B section, and the Dixieland and other music from American musicals to finish up. And I particularly like the orchestration of the medleys. A wonderful CD.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars The Who Classic Masterpiece AS YOU NEVER HEARD BEFORE.......2007-06-12

The Album is a masterpiece of all time rock n roll, even if this is "the less Who album" of the Who... but nevermind!
The Sound in both Stereo (from the original master tape discovered in the vault of UMG) and 5.1 (mixed by Pete Townshend himself) is great...
As you put the disc in your player you'll hear the great differences from the 1996 reissue even if you have only a "simple" CD player..
If You're a great Who fan and you a have SACD player buy ABSOLUTELY this album and enjoy it 'til the laser of your player won't work anymore...
The second disc is clearly for fans only but the quality of some track even if are demos or outtakes is very very good!!

5 out of 5 stars A Landmark Classic Now Made Even Better........2006-12-26

One of the most important, groundbreaking amd influential albums in the history of rock and roll, The Who's 1969 magnum opus "Tommy", a rock opera about a deaf, dumb and blind kid who sure plays a mean pinball, is now better than ever thanks to the brilliance of SACD and DSD remastering techniques.

Every song on the cd sounds like it was recorded just yesterday. It is 100 % crystal clear, perfectly remixed and remastered. It gives you a clearer view of the story as well as a more pleasurable than ever listening experience. Pete Townshend and the people involved in this truly put their hearts into making "Tommy" better than ever.

The bonus disc is also worth it. A lot of awesome raritis. The liner notes are an interesting read, and the album itself is of course a masterpiece nobody should be without.

5 out of 5 stars A Milestone of Early Rock!.......2006-09-29

"Tommy" is beyond question one of the big milestones of early rock. Musically the band were at the peak of their creativity.

All band members were obviously extremely talented musicians and both Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were/are great singers. Apart from few exceptions like "Cousin Kevin" all songs are outstanding; and it's really great to have the whole story on one CD - compared to the old double vinyl album.

Though the storyline may seem a little weird today ( to me it always did ), there is so much great music on this album.

The second bonus CD gives a very interesting insight in the developement of some of the songs. Though the sound quality is exellent CD 2 will mainly be of interest to hard-core Who fans. None of these alternate versions are better than the ones chosen for the album, though a few come close. The studio version of "Young Man Blues" which did not appear on the original album is a nice addition too!

5 out of 5 stars I Love it !.......2006-09-06

I was so blind-sided by this reissue - really. I have looked at this for a few years now, but I never picked it up. My impression of this was that it had some very good music along with some dated sounding tracks, so it wasn't a high priority. I'd been having very good luck buying hybrid SACD's even though I don't own a SACD player; the CD layers benefit greatly from the DSD mastering, making them stand head and shoulders above the latest PCM remasters (there are a few exceptions), so I decided to take the plunge.

The CD layer is stunning. I must have been sitting there with my mouth open after "Overture" began. I experienced emotion that wasn't there on previous listens to this on CD and vinyl. Yes, some of the tracks still sound dated, but most of this album is very good indeed, and this remaster is so incredible. If you own a great stereo rig, I highly recommend buying this - in fact, even if you don't have a great rig, I recommend it!

5 out of 5 stars The Who's classic rock opera gets a 35th birthday celebration fit for a king!.......2006-08-13

The Who's fourth studio(and fifth overall) album Tommy was released in May of 1969.
The Tommy album by The Who was the make or break for the group because if Tommy had failed, The Who would have probably disbanded due to lack of funds despite their concerts selling out based on Pete Townshend's guitar smashing and Keith Moon's drum kit demolishing at the end of each gig.
Guitarist Pete Townshend, under the gun after I Can See For Miles failed as a single in the UK(although it was their biggest ever hit here in the US) came up with a rock opera about a deaf, dumb and blind kid named Tommy whom becomes those aforementioned things after witnessing an event as a child that traumatized him(his father killing his step-father whom he considered his father).
Originally considered to be a single length album, the band felt it didn't make sense so they expanded it into a double album and the result is one of rock's Top 10 greatest double studio albums in history(alongside other classic double albums like the then-already released Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland and The Beatles' White album and would help pave the way for more classics like The Rolling Stones' 1972 masterwork Exile on Main Street, The Who's 1973 release Quadrophenia, Elton John's 1973 classic Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Genesis' 1974 masterwork The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Led Zeppelin's 1975 classic Physical Graffiti, Pink Floyd's 1979 masterpiece The Wall and Bruce Springsteen's 1980 classic The River among many others).
Alot of classics appear on this album like the Overture, the classic Top 20 hit Pinball Wizard, Amazing Journey, the Underture(best instrumental on here which is basically a repeat of the album's other instrumental Sparks), Go to the Mirror, I'm Free, Cousin Kevin(one of bass player John Entwistle's greatest compositions), Fiddle About(about the perverted Uncle Ernie), Tommy's Holiday Camp(another excellent ditty written by drummer Keith Moon whom did an excellent rendition in the film version of Tommy in 1975) and the classic finale We're Not Gonna Take It/See Me Feel Me.
The other tracks on the album It's a Boy, 1921(You Didn't Hear It), Eyesight to the Blind, Christmas, The Acid Queen, Do You Think It's Alright, There's a Doctor I've Found, Tommy Can You Hear Me?, Smash the Mirror, Sensation, Miracle Cure, Sally Simpson and Welcome are all great pieces as well though tend to be overlooked.
The album made The Who legends for good and peaked at #4 on the Billboard chart and was their first Gold seller(eventually Platinum).
In 1996, the album was re-released as a remastered CD but used different masters for the remixed reissue.
In October of 2003(just in time for Tommy's 35th Anniversary), Geffen Records(formerly known as MCA) re-released the album as a 2-disc Hybrid SACD with the original mix on the CD layer and a killer 5.1 mix on the SACD layer and this version uses the very original tapes that were found in Universal's vault after being said that the original tapes were destroyed by Kit Lambert in a fire. As a result of the discovery of the original tapes, the sound quality is amazing on here.
Disc two has great outtakes and demos like I Was, The Who trying to record Sally Simpson with hilarious results and instrumental versions of Tommy Can You Hear Me and Tommy's Holiday Camp among many other rarities plus a cool booklet with rare photos.
Highly recommended.

Nearing the twenty-year mark (their first album, Whites Off Earth Now!!, was released in 1986), Cowboy Junkies have devoted an album to a component that has informed their identity from the beginning: interpreting material written primarily by others. Two of the eleven songs are by Michael Timmins, the rest being arrangements of traditional material ("Two Soldiers" and "No More") and covers by a bracing mix of writers who have exerted an influence on the band over the years (Bob Dylan, John Lennon, George Harrison, Bruce Springsteen, U2, and Richie Havens). Much like gaining insights into someone by gazing at the titles on their bookshelf, these song choices both fit and embellish the already established portrait of Cowboy Junkies. Throughout, Margo Timmins gently unadorned bearing moves subtly between quiet sadness and quiet hopefulness. --David Greenberger

Album Description

In February, 2005 the Cowboy Junkies gathered together for five days of music making at their Clubhouse studio in Toronto. Each band member brought along a handful of their favorite songs by other writers -- songs which focused on the themes of war, violence, fear, greed, ignorance and loss. The atmosphere that week was so magical that the band decided to simply roll tape and document the sessions. The result is Early 21st Century Blues, an album filled with a very special intimacy unmatched since the Junkies released their landmark The Trinity Session album 18 years ago. Early 21st Century Blues features interpretations of songs from artists such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and John Lennon, plus two new Junkies originals, and is the Junkies' own "small document of hope" for the times we live in.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Best Covers.......2007-01-10

The Cowboy Junkies have been one of my favorites for a long time and when this album came out I was excited to hear them cover some new type material. Covers of John Lennon, U2 and Springsteen. Wow, my favorite modern blues band covering some of my favorite classic rock. I was in heaven. Excellent buy for any Junkies fan.

2 out of 5 stars disappointment.......2006-07-07

this is one album by the cowboy junkies i won't be buying. such a let down. man, just get back to writing good music.

3 out of 5 stars Good but not Great.......2006-06-29

I haven't listened to this one as much as I thought I would. All the numbers are at least OK, but to me none were memorable. There isn't a Misguided Angel or Powder Finger here. I am a fan of the Cowboy Junkies and I will listen to this many times, but I don't think it will be one of my favorites.

4 out of 5 stars Cowboy Junkies' return to form.......2006-04-24

The Cowboy Junkies' 2004 studio album "One Soul Now" was flat-out boring, and the low point of a long way downward from the "Trinity Sessions" days. I didn't know whether the band still had a good record left in them, and I am glad to say that I was wrong.

"Early 21st Century Blues" (11 tracks, 59 min.) finds the Canadian foursome bringing us a mix of originals, covers and traditionals, to great effect. The 2 originals "December Skies" and "This World Dreams Of" are among the best songs Michael Timmins has brought in a LONG time. The covers include 2 from Burce Springsteen, of which "Brothers Under the Bridge" is outstanding, as well as Bob Dylan, Richie Havens, U2 and George Harrison, whose "Isn't It a Pity" is another highlight. The John Lennon cover "I Don't Want to Be a Soldier" is terrible, though, with a... rap (!?!) in the middle of the song. This alone keeps me from giving this album not more than 4 stars.

That said, the band is in great musical form throughout, and Margo Timmins' voice is as beautiful as ever. 2006 marks the 20th anniversary of this remarkable band. "Early 21st Century Blues" is a return to great form, and makes me excited again what Cowboy Junkies are up to next. If you like CJ, check out a band called Over the Rhine, with a very similar style of music (in fact, OtR and CJ have toured together on more than one occastion), you will not be disappointed.

3 out of 5 stars Not that impressed..........2005-12-28

This seems a little perfunctory in execution and not as inspired as a new Cowboy Junkies studio album usually is. While these may be favorites of the band, they drag on for me, not to mention that Springsteen and U2 seem more commercial in the selection here than worthy. I don't hear Margo's voice rising above tribute level either.

I'd rather Mike write his own collection of gritty, war protest songs than to hear a collection of mostly covers by big names. Oh, well.

These 11 songs ricochet between hope and tragedy, creating a emotionally complex cycle that's buoyed by his carefully considered performances--full of weeping electric guitar melodies and his gentlest, most soulful singing. The opening King-penned trilogy "What Would Jesus Do?," "Faith," and "Baptized in Dirty Water" essays the tests of strength and spirit that came with the floodwaters. King examines the nature of justice in these songs, raising questions about the federal government's blindness to the unfolding disaster and the moral compromises many needed to make to survive. He's also given some Crescent City classics new meaning. His take on the chestnut "St. James Infirmary" reflects on the musical history of New Orleans as well as the loss of life caused by the hurricane. And when Louis Armstrong's sweetly upbeat "What a Wonderful World" closes the album, its joyful lyrics provide an ironic counterpoint to the pain and suffering King chronicles as the rest of Rise's thoughtful songs unspool. --Ted Drozdowski

5 out of 5 stars Moving Post Katrina Blues and More.......2006-09-28

Chris Thomas King, the Baton Rouge born son of Tabby Thomas, has issued a most impressive recording reflecting on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, "Rise" (21st Century Blues). From the opening "What Would Jesus Do?" to the closing "What a Wonderful World," Thomas interprets classic songs associated with New Orleans and gives us originals covering a wide range of musical styles, although not the incorporation of hip hop that King has utilized on other recent recordings. He is on an almost traditionalist mode here. The CD's tracks include several where Thomas plays all the instruments along with several musicians assisting Thomas. These include Mike Finnigan and Tony Braunagel of the Phantom Blues Band, and drummer Jason Marsalis.
There is country flavor to the opening "What Would Jesus Do?," as he sings "Tell Me America, What Would Jesus Do (2x) If he had to walk a mile in my shoe," with haunting lyrics. There is a bit of modern gospel-soul flavor in the backing for "Faith" told from the standpoint of someone on a rooftop waiting to be saved. "Baptized in Dirty Water" is a modern electric guitar blues as he shouts in the manner of a young Buddy Guy or Otis Rush (and the song suggests Rush's "I Can't Quit You Baby"), "When the levee broke down baby and dirty water came rushing in (2X), it washed away my happy home, I hope it washed away my sins," with a tough guitar solo followed by the wistful "Flow Mississippi Roll", singing about having no place to go and wanting to drown on my own tears as a businessman is making plans for his land. St. James Infirmary is handled as a modern blues with more fine guitar as King updates the lyric as he asks that they "put a good jazzband on my tailgate to raise hell as we roll along." a jazz band and a second-line as his body is taken to its grave. Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi," I believe was recorded a few days before Katrina in New Orleans, and Thomas' performance makes the lyric "Don't you know what you got `til its gone, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot," prescient in terms of the destruction of wetlands that helped contribute to Katrina's devastation. Its not the only tune that is so in place even if not directly alluding to Katrina, as does the gospel number Deepest Ocean. His rendition of the Irish ballad, "`Tis Last Rose of Summer," a tribute to his mother, is full of warmth and tenderness as is the rendition of the closing chestnut, "What a Wonderful World." "Rise" is a remarkable recording that transcends any limitation of genre. Heartfully sung and played with an eye to the losses he and so many others have suffered yet he also has an eye for that part of the human spirit that enables people to work together to overcome such traumatic and devastating natural disasters. It will undoubtedly be on many Best Recordings of 2006 lists.

2 out of 5 stars A shot in the foot.......2006-09-23

Chris Thomas King has been making riveting, moving, pleasing, melodic, deep and soulful albums for some time. "Rise" focuses on the sorrow and stress of a post-Katrina South. The album is, and should be, another great addition to his output.

He ruins the experience in the second song, entitled "Faith", when he sings, "President Bush flying round, Oh, looking down on us from the air, They say he pity the poor people, But does he really care?". A cliche jab such as this ruins the flow early on and loses touch with the sorrow he shares in the rest of the song. For those who seem to share such a sentiment, there probably will be no objection, unfortunately. I am among the great number of folks who are tired of partisan, and many times assinine, cheap shots. I skip over this track. King should focus on the themes of "hav(ing) Faith in one another", and illustrating sentiments such as "I hear Gabriel senrenading me with song", whereby he'll remain a fantastic musician and performer.

5 out of 5 stars A Powerful Album.......2006-08-05

Rise has got to be one of the most powerfully moving works of music I've heard in a very long time. I can't imagine a more appropriate medium than gospel and the blues to capture what happened in New Orleans and King's expression of the wrenching sense of loss and abandonment in those musical forms is stunningly apropos.

King's compositions look both forward and back, breaking new ground while also honoring the tradition born in the Delta. He freely borrows from the styles of bluesmen of days gone by as well as from those still living in a way that reminds one of the city he implores to Rise above it's tragedy.

As good as the playing is, the lyrics are so moving and challenging as to force the listener to listen to each song several times first to absorb the impact of what was being sung about and then to appreciate the music used to help tell the stories.

The song that sets the tone of the album is "What Would Jesus Do?". In asking, "Tell me America, what would Jesus do?" King engages the listener by asking a question that takes one beyond a "mere" theological debate or pop song to a deep question of what one's conception of the identity of God is and what one might have done when put in the place of the song's subject. It begs forgiveness even while it challenges.

Of all the albums I've heard that commemorate events of their times, this one may be the most powerful because it's the most deeply rooted in the heart and culture of its subject. I would recommend this album to all who love the blues and any who wants to move beyond the sound bites of the mainstream media and the spin of the political machines into the grief of a city destroyed and its heartfelt desire to Rise.

5 out of 5 stars Powerful blues music about the Katrina storm...............2006-07-28

I never heard of Chris King until I read an article mentioning his album RISE. I ordered it and was blown away by its themes.
Mr.King plays blues guitar so beautifully and the lyrics really dig at your heart. KATRINA was a terrible storm but you saw a lot of goodness come from it with everyone trying to help the residents affected by it. I hope Mr.King sells a ton of this cd and that more people listen to his sweet sounds. Great stuff!!!

The first two-thirds of this disc is a fascinating cram course in concert music around the time of World War I. The programmer has put together some fascinating juxtapositions--for example, Strauss's Rosenkavalier leads almost seamlessly into Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde, and Schoenberg sounds out of context with everybody (including Berg). The selections are all short, and performance quality runs from great to mediocre, but this is still a thought-provoking educational experience, even though Bartók and Ives are conspicuously missing. The popular selections are less interesting, often campy, and although vintage recordings are used, they aren't always the right vintage. And someone missed a point by separating Copland's jazzy "Music for the Theatre" from Louis Armstrong, who could have followed immediately. --Leslie Gerber

5 out of 5 stars Music and the Great War.......2007-05-14

This is a fascinating compendium of popular and classical music from the World War One period. It evokes all the turmoil, anguish, and also humor, of the age, and is a vital CD to own if you have an interest in the Great War and the music it inspired or was inspired by.

5 out of 5 stars How a Century Has Change Our Perception of War.......2005-10-29

War. Tough subject these days - tough subject since the beginning of time. Yet Americans tend to mend wounds and gradually allow the atrocities of yesteryear to fade into coated cases that signal more memories of 'how things used to be' rather than learning from the tragedies with which war has scarred the planet. National Public Radio issued this excellent memoir at the turn of the millennium and one wonders if it now has the same response that greeted it in 1999.

Linda Kobler reconstituted this mix of classical and popular music with a keen sense of history. The CD is twice divided (in both the classical and the popular music) into 'Before the War' 1901 - 1917, 'During the War' 1917 - 1922, and 'After the War' 1922 - 1928. In the first era are the works of Elgar ('Pomp and Circumstance'), Strauss (a waltz from 'Der Rosenkavalier'), Mahler (excerpt from 'Das Lied von der Erde'), and Debussy ('La Mer') joining the songs 'Shine On Harvest Moon' and 'Alexander's Ragtime Band'. The War period is represented by Prokofiev's 'Symphony No. 1', Stravinsky's 'L'histoire du soldat', and Ravel's 'Le tombeau de Couperin' in tandem with 'Over There'. After the war include Stravinsky ('Pulcinella Suite'), Schoenberg (Waltz from 'Five Piano Pieces'), Berg (excerpt from 'Wozzeck') and Copland ('Music from the Theatre') with popular songs 'How you gonna keep 'em down on the farm', 'The Man I Love', and 'West End Blues'.

The excerpts selected for this survey are exceptionally good: orchestras include NY Phil, LA Phil, Philadelphia Orchestra, London Symphony, and the Columbia Symphony under such batons a Ormandy, Bernstein, Salonen, Tilson Thomas, Schippers and Stravinsky; soloists include Glen Gould, Robert Casadesus, Lili Chookaskian, Louis Armstrong, et al. The sonics are very fine and the performances are each from significant full recordings remaining in the catalogue.

The booklet accompanying this concert of memories is written by Linda Kobler who uses each selection as a pivotal point in the atmosphere of the globe that accompanied the Great War: it is very well written and informative. This is one of those recorded collections that goes far beyond an accumulation of bits and pieces and instead gives food for thought about how our political and social actions intertwine with the arts in a prophetic way. Highly Recommended. Grady Harp, October 05

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Recording!.......1999-03-13

(It was called The "Great" War, because nobody knew about WWII at the time and it was the biggest war anyone had ever seen.)

I think this CD may be a bit choppy to "easy" listeners, but for anyone who has a sincere interest in delving into the musical senses of earlier generations it's VERY good! I recommend the entire NPR Milestones of the Millennium series to such aficionados.

5 out of 5 stars Good music, bad title.......1999-02-11

Since when is war great? Life in the trenches waiting for the germans to attack you worrying about whether mustard gas is gonna loft your way isn't exactly like sipping chablis.

2 out of 5 stars Quantity Over Quality.......2007-01-15

As a musician myself, I know too well that one of the most important ingredients in ANY performance (live or recorded) is passion. The recordings here generally lack the same passion and sheer drama of the originals. Much of the instrumentation has been reduced to a cheezy, thin, plastic synthesized replica. The performances are simply a watered-down lackluster version of the classic originals. If it were not for the sheer volume of tracks compiled here, I would have rated the comp only "one star".

3 out of 5 stars Mediocre.......2006-05-17

The sound quality for this collection isn't much better than the samples offered by Amazon.

4 out of 5 stars One Hundred Greatest TV Themes.......2005-08-06

I have watched almost all the shows that are on these 4 cd's. Many were made before I started watching TV. Most I've seen once or twice before.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty close to original recordings.......2005-07-24

Definitely not as good as the originals. You'll probably notice the slight differences since it's stuff you saw and listened to every week or everyday in reruns growing up, but it's still an amazing collection.

5 out of 5 stars Really Good Collection.......2004-07-11

I bought this in part because it had soundtracks to tv shows that are unavailable. My husband and I watch aome British programming. Many of the theme songs are for what seems like obscure British shows. That said; it has been enjoyable to hear music that I would normally never hear. Some music does sound tinny; some are very very rich, and some music is derived from actual preformances from the original artists. I think this is worth buying because is has a wonderful blend of music. The pieces are full soundtracks so they includes the parts of the theme song which are often edited out. I think the orchestra's who preformed the music did a great job. I have MonsterMania which redoes the soundtracks to the Godzilla movies. The interpretation is less heavy and stark than the preformance we associate with the original soundtrack; but I regard it as a new way to appreciate the music and all the componets which make the song unique.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Compilation of the Man on 2 Discs! Great Sound Quality Too!.......2006-04-21

The title very aptly describes this great classical guitar album showcasing some of the best ever works of John Williams on 2 discs. The track selections are great as they span the centuries from the Baroque greats of Bach and Vivaldi to the modern day composers such as Stanley Myers and York. John even flirts with Blues and Jazz-style pieces and they actually sound very good. In addition, they did a much better mastering job on this version than on the single disc, "Classic John Williams" album that was released a few years earlier and so the sound quality is much better. John Williams' playing is without peer and his technique is superior to the vast majority of the exponents of classical guitar that are out there. I've heard recordings of many others who have tried to play "Cavatina" for example and they have never come close to the natural and flowing version that John plays. If you are a fan of this type of music or of John Williams' work, this is the best compilation that you can get that's out there. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Relaxing and Enticing to the Ear.......2006-01-26

The first song on this set is why I bought the whole album. It blows you away listening to the precise picking and the gorgeous way it is done. Not robotic like some freaks out there. This is true beautiful music. Runs together like a long summer drive in the country. It is just a perfect album to listen to at home or on the go.

5 out of 5 stars A little something for everybody.......2005-06-15

First, this is gorgeous guitar playing by someone who knows what he's doing. John Williams (not to be confused by the film score composer of the same name) is a superb classical guitarist. Many of these pieces are *classical* in nature, while a few are more *popular*. Many are solo, the rest in small chamber groups. Some will get your toes tapping, some will start you daydreaming, and some will make you cry with their beauty. All of it is magnificent.

I just finished listening to this cd. I loved it! Chris Thomas King can achieve a beutiful sound. There are some great, old blues songs from Robert Johnson and Lead Belly, and then there are some new, unique songs. It's a balanced mix. This CD would be a terrific addition to any music lover's collection. Whether you've loved blues for a long time, or you're new to the scene, get this CD!
