A masterful instrumental guitar cd. In the SATRIANI / HOEY mould and up there with the best of them. Not every track is a winner, but this is a very original and at times quite experimental guitar CD that not only shows of BEEGLES awesome chops, but also his versatility as a composer. From eastern / arabic flavours to JAZZ / BLUES / J.S.BACH and heaps in between this should please anyone that likes the guitar. I had to immediatly order more of this mans musik and can't wait to explore his work.

I could write an extensive review, but some of the others on this page already say what I have to. Buy this CD if you like guitar, whatever style you're into. Dave is one of the best. In a league with Beck, Clapton, Hendrix, Holdsworth, Keaggy, Johnson, Vai, Van Halen, Stevie Ray, etc., etc.. Get the drift - it's excellent!

Dave was my instructor when I was 14 years old, nearly 20 years ago. We did Ozzy, Nugent, Sabbath, Kim Mitchell, and so on. He could teach me anything I wanted to learn. I feel very proud to say that Dave Beegle was my "teacher". The Clear the Tracks CD is almost perfect. The only thing that would make it more perfect is if Dave could perform it for you live. He has surrounded himself with some of the best musicians in America and in combination with them has created fantastic music. If you as a listener can listen to "A Simple Prayer" and not hum it to yourself for days afterwards, you are not listening. Great guitar players these days seem to be a dime a dozen. Dave Beegle is a phenomenal guitar player and a great song writer. Great song writers only come along so often. Dave is one of those writers that needs to be heard. Please listen, you will see what I mean.

Dave Beegle is clearly the class of new guitar players these days. His guitar playing is fresh and exciting, and this CD showcases his songwriting talent as well as his incredible chops. This is a great CD for those who may not be familiar with this undiscovered guitar virtuoso. Once you buy this CD, you will be thankful that we now have a new guitar hero with substance.

For one guitarist to cover so much ground and keep it sounding cohesive is amazing. That sums up Dave Beegle. His new songs as well as the Artifact Symphony cuts are brilliant modern guitar music. His work that is featured with Fourth Estate is also brilliant. Thank God that good music like this is finally getting easier to find. No thanks to the current state of guitar magazines, they're as lame as ever in promoting good new guitar music. Pick this disc up if you want something fresh and innovative.
