Future is Turning is a well crafted masterpiece of melodic pop punk vibrating with excitement at every beat and strum. The songs on this e.p. are as catchy as the common cold. This release will more than satisfy the sweet tooth while demonstrating the band's rock and roll passion. I have to say I was very impressed by this album. Lead singer Melanie's vocals are amazing; soft, sweet and melodic.

I rather enjoyed the third track "How the Story Goes," a twist from the poppy punk chords and into the rockabilly-esque realm. Luckie Strike also does a fantastic cover of Elvis Costello's "Radio, Radio" which is almost better than the original. This e.p. is clean, crisp, and hypnotic. I found myself enthralled by the entire release. I can't seem to get enough of this, unfortunately there are only 6 songs filling up Future is Turning that seem to pass right by, but thats not going to prevent me from hitting the repeat button! What more can I say about Luckie Strike?! I can spend all day giving hype to the band but, alas I shall relent for now.
