Customer Reviews:
Simple songs to start a foggy day.......2004-05-14
I put my new copy of I Know You Destroy into the car cd player on the way to work today. Those great lyrics and the not too invasive/not too far away music really just made my ride all the more wonderful and I am still singing the songs in my head while I sit in my cubicle. It was worth the wait and the purchase price indeed. Great album. Buy it!
Beautiful Pop Music.......2003-09-20
If you have never heard of these guys, run, don't walk to the local record shop and pick up this cd. Wait, most places will not carry this because it is not your typical top 40 garbage. But if you are a fan of The Shins, Wilco or even Big Star, this cd is worth a search. Beautiful melodies and really strong songs from start to finish. I have all of their earlier discs and this is by far their most successful. Joey Sweeney has nearly perfected his style with this record. This is easily one the best records in 2003.Total ear candy. Its a real shame that most people outside of Philadelphia will never discover the Trouble With Sweeney. I hope you enjoy this as much as i do. Happy listening..
