Nirvana may have been the biggest thing in the music world in the early '90s, but the trio maintained an uncommon devotion to core fans who knew them when they were still sleeping in a van. Fending off the adoration of punk-rock dabblers in the media and their audience while simultaneously welcoming stalwart underground-music supporters, Kurt Cobain did things on his own terms--until it all came crashing down. A decade after Cobain's 1994 suicide and the band's demise, With the Lights Out remains true to the ethos that defined the band and the alt-rock revolution that rose and fell with them.

Eschewing the standard hits-sprinkled-with-rarities mix, this lovingly compiled three-CD, one-DVD collection is made up almost entirely of previously unreleased selections. The handful of previously heard tracks are obscurities along the lines of the group's cover of "Here She Comes Now," recorded for a 1990 indie-rock tribute to the Velvet Underground. But it's not the B-sides and compilation oddities that define this idiosyncratic set; rather, its spirit is captured in the bedroom demos, radio performances, and sloppy amateur video recordings that catch Cobain and cohorts developing from just another punk- and metal-inspired bunch of grunge rockers pounding away in the bass player's mom's living room into a band that defined an era. --Steven Stolder

Album Description

The box set spans Nirvana's entire career, from a recording of Led Zeppelin's "Heartbreaker" at the band's first show in 1987 to solo acoustic performances from singer-guitarist Kurt Cobain in 1994. With The Lights Out features a 60-page color booklet with rare photos and liner notes by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and writer Neil Strauss. The three CDs, arranged largely chronologically contains home and rehearsal demos, including for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (whose lyric "With the lights out" provides the set's title), "Rape Me," "Heart Shaped Box" and a trio penned by legendary bluesman Leadbelly. Heard in the 12 previously unreleased solo acoustic tracks are such gems as "All Apologies," "Lithium" and "Sliver." Six previously unreleased radio performances range from "Anorexorcist" in 1987 to "Dumb" in 1991 (two years before it was on 1993's In Utero). Along with the remaining debuts are a handful of earlier issued, though rare, b-sides and demos as well as the original Butch Vig mix of "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Highlighted on the With The Lights Out DVD is a previously unreleased video of nine songs performed in 1988 at bassist Krist Novoselic's mother's house in Aberdeen, Washington; the rare "In Bloom" Sub Pop music video, and 10 never-before-seen live performances. Noteworthy among them are debut renditions of "Pennyroyal Tea", "Smells Like Teen Spirit" both from early 1991. Also premiering is an unlikely performance of Jacques Brel and Rod McKuen's "Seasons In The Sun" shot at a Rio de Janeiro studio.

4 out of 5 stars Rare Nirvana.......2007-06-19

This was the Box Set that Nirvana fans had been waiting for. With it's release they were not disappointed. The Box Set is arranged chronologically, with demos, song outtakes, and studio mixes from Nirvana's career. My personal highlights include the Leadbelly cover Ain't It a Shame, the Nevermind Outakes of Old Age and Verse, Chorus Verse, and the last demo ever recorded by Cobain called Do Re Mi. Some of this makes you realize that some of Cobain's strongest work was never released. Old Age had top 40 potential if it would have been completed. Do Re Mi has a beautiful melody and beatleesque tone. My only regret is that some of the demos did not belong on here due to their roughness. This space might have been better filled perhaps with Nirvana's radio performances or concert performances. The DVD also contained rare Nirvana footage. However, I was disappointed it didn't contain more of Nirvana's T.V. performances or scenes from their In Utero tour. Overall this is a great resource for any Nirvana fan who wants to dig deeper into this band.

5 out of 5 stars Incredible for sheer variety.......2007-05-06

I like the demos a lot, I am a songwriter myself and they remind me that even Kurt Cobain figured out his songs on his own. As far as some having a problem with no b sides, most of the B sides you wanted are on this! Including D-7, Even In His Youth, I Hate Myself And I Want To Die, Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol, Marigold, Moist Vagina, Curmudgeon, Verse Chorus Verse, Aneurysm, with the only missing songs being Spank Thru and You Know You're Right (Which I'll admit is no good that the only way you can have that song is by buying the greatest hits collection). In the Butch Vig Teen Spirit Version the guitar sounds much more like the guitars of Garbage (Vig's band) than the raw visceral guitar on the Nevermind recording.

While a B side collection would be an excellent companion piece to the Greatest Hits collection and it would be great if the company would make one, these are now probably my favorite Nirvana discs I own for the sheer rawness of the recordings. Nirvana was a big fan of minimalism, and while I do not like every track, the Sage covers, Sappy, Oh The Guilt, the Here She Comes Now cover, and the White Lace And Strange cover (Proving once and for all that Cobain could actually play guitar), are some of my favorite Nirvana tracks ever.

5 out of 5 stars Stellar Collection Of Rarities In High-Quality Sound . . ........2007-05-04

this says it best. three discs of previously hard-to-find Nirvana b-sides
and rarities all mastered in high-quality sound. most of these tracks were
only available on the Outcesticide releases in the '90s (with poor sound quality and terribly overpriced). at the time, this is the only access we
had to any Nirvana material of this type. most of us could not get enough of this band back in the day, so we would pay whatever we had to get it.
the first three discs are a collection of live, b-side and rare tracks in chronological order (for the most part) and the fourth disc is a DVD of
the band in December 1988 (with former drummer Chad Channing) practicing
at Chris Novoselic's house (bet his mother wasn't happy) with a Sub Pop video of "In Bloom" and other greatness. i have owned this for over two
years now, and at least one of these discs rarely ever leave my CD changer. very enjoyable. if you're even a moderate fan, get this, it is worth it !!!

Amazon.com essential recording

Real life intruded on Richard and Linda Thompson and turned Shoot Out the Lights into a harrowing masterpiece. The collection was difficult to create. Tracks from an aborted first attempt to record the album ended up on the Richard Thompson anthology Watching the Dark and the history of Linda Thompson Dreams Fly Away. It also became their final record together, lending extra poignance to such classically grim Richard Thompson titles as "Did She Jump or Was She Pushed" and "Wall of Death." The combination of Richard's inventive guitar work; his ragged vocals; and Linda's fragile, beautiful singing, all suffocatingly emotional, backed for the most part by longtime Thompson associates from Fairport Convention, make Shoot Out the Lights essential. --David Wolf

5 out of 5 stars Dark but Strong Farewell!.......2007-07-02

"Shoot Out the Lights" was Richard and Linda Thompson's 1982. comeback album after two slightly disappointing albums released on the Chrysalis label in 1978 and 1979. Unfortunately this was also to be their last, as both their marriage and their artistic partnership was falling apart at this point. Quite a paradox as the album is as strong as their finest albums recorded for Island in the mid 1970's.

Musically more rocking and less folkish than their Island albums; lyrically at least as dark as "Pour Down Like Silver". Titles "Walking on a Wire", "Shoot out the Lights" and "Wall of Death" indicate the general dark tone of the album.

Richard who takes the lead vocals on the more rocking tracks like "Don't Renege on Our Love" and "Man in Need", while the two great ballads "Just the Motion" and "Walking on a Wire" have Linda in front. Along with the two outstanding closing tracks "Did She Jump" and "Wall of Death" the Linda ballads are my favourites on the album.

Strong songwriting by Richard and tight playing from the band, which besides Richard on guitar consists of old Fairport friends like Simon Nicol, Dave Pegg and Dave Mattacks, make the album one of the most consistent in Richard Thompson's long career.

Produced by another old Fairport friend Joe Boyd, who produced the first five Fairport albums and several later Richard Thompson solo albums.

5 out of 5 stars A sombre masterpiece.......2007-05-22

The final album that Richard and Linda Thompson recorded as a duo is one of their best and certainly a classic English rock album. There had always been long shadows in their music but this album all seems to take place after nightfall. Even the prettiest ballads turn out to be meditations on loss and grief if you give them more than a cursory glance.
The couple split after the release of this album and comparisons could perhaps be made with "Rumours" by Fletwood Mac, as songs like "Don't Renege On Our Love" and "Walking on a Wire" seem to refer to the breakdown of relationships. Yet overall the material on "Shoot out the Lights" explores much darker territory than you will ever find Fleetwood Mac exploring. The title track refers to a real life serial killer who explained his crimes by saying he wanted to "shoot out the lights". The album closer "Wall of Death" has a sweet, singable melody until you realise that the song is more about the sense of urgency and preciousness that death gives life than the amusement park ride it takes its name from. But the payback for listening to all this melancholy is some very moody and atmospheric songs that are rooted in real emotion, however sad at heart. Richard Thompson was in some sense one of the last great craftsmen in rock in that songcraft is always at the fore in his records. This music is not especially innovative but the songs are beautifully put together and performed and it is definitely a record that you can keep coming back to discover new shades.

5 out of 5 stars Just The Best.......2007-01-17

This is not a soft cushion but anyone who has been disappointed in love will recognise themselves in this album. The last collaboration between two great musicians each of whom has gone on to produce much more great music. They also produced Teddy Thompson who has himself produced 2 excellent albums. also check out the first solo albums by RT (Daring Adventures) & LT (One Clear Moment) where they further vent their spleens.
Buy it and then buy everything else. You won't love everything but you won'r hate anything either.

4 out of 5 stars Was this really Richard and Linda's best?.......2006-12-28

This was the last of the RT and LT partnership albums and their most popular and accessible. There's less of a folk influence here and more pop. It does seem to me that RT was striving for commercial success with some of these tracks, something he had always refused to pander to with any of his past work. The 2 most commercial tracks are the galloping opener 'Don't renege on our love', which bore all the hallmarks of a hit single. 'Wall of death' likewise could have also been a single, if a little less obvious (See a superb live version on YouTube). But the problem I have with this album is that some of the songs lack the depth of of his previous work. The most obvious examples are 'Man in need' and 'Back street slide' which are more ordinary fare compared to RT's usually very high standards.

Before this album was made, I remember the music critics complaining that Thompson's work was far too gloomy and dark for general public taste. RT was indignant about this criticism and SOTL was probably his reaction to it. However the ballads 'Walking on a wire' and 'Just the motion' are well up to usual expectations, and are not exactly cheerful songs either. Finally the title track is the album's 'angry' song and includes one of RT's more manic guitar solos. The track bears a resemblance to Link Wray's instrumental, 'Rumble'.

To sum up, SOTL is hardly RT/LT's best album IMO, despite its popularity. It was after all the first RT album to be plugged in the US, however it does serve well as an introduction to RT's talents. But if you are looking for something a bit rarer and more special from the RT and LT collection, try the albums 'I want to see the bright lights tonight' and 'Pour down like silver', the latter being RT's most melancholic and spiritual effort, but both are excellent nevertheless (and readily available on amazon.co.uk without paying through the nose). And as with all RT albums including this one, they require repeated listening to appreciate them properly.

5 out of 5 stars Great folk rock album.......2006-12-17

Just don't trust the first listening. Maybe, as it happened to me, you will think it's the "usual" folk-rock cd. Let it play for a second time, it's enough: you'll enjoy the rare match between subtle spleen and energy of its tracks. A great album, a milestone.
My favorite song? Difficult choice, but, well, I say "Just The Motion".

Album Description

Chicago's PONYS follow their two critically acclaimed albums on In The Red with their Matador debut, recorded at Electric Studios with John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Son Volt, Screaming Trees). A classic twin-guitar rock band fronted by the impassioned vocals of Jered Gummere, THE PONYS' songwriting range from psych jams to pounding rockers to twisted singer-songwriter material, evoking influences from Television and Dream Syndicate to The Only Ones and The Jesus and Marychain. Turn The Lights Out is denser, noisier and more fucked-up than its two predecessors, and sounds bigger to boot. The complex interplay between the guitars and the reverb-drenched vox and keys emerges more effectively than ever before in Agnello's massive production.

4 out of 5 stars Little album of energy........2007-05-27

I love chick bassists!!! Anywho, great musicmanship and nice hooks and melodies! Great things will arise from this band. I love you Melissa.

5 out of 5 stars I cant believe more people havent reviewed this album.......2007-05-08

If you like the pixies, Jesus and Mary Chain, etc. you'll love this CD. I'm more of a fan of indie rock than the forementioned bands, but I love it nonetheless. There's something here for everyone.

5 out of 5 stars great new LP from one of the best bands in the midwest.......2007-04-24

It is safe to say that if you liked the Ponys before, you will still like them. If you have never heard them, NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO GET INTO THEM. There are some incredibly catchy songs on here that just stick in your head like glue: Double Vision, Small Talk, Harikiri, etc. I forsee these songs being all over mixtapes this summer!

This is a great LP, influenced by all the great classics like TELEVISION (particularly the vocals), FELT (not as British, but its those vocals), THE PIXIES, JESUS & MARY CHAIN, DINOSAUR JR, etc. The guitars are not as loud & abrasive as they should be (at least I think) but let's hope they fix that for the next LP.

They have been selling out gigs here in Chicago for a couple years now but hopefully their appearence at the Pitchfork Music Festival this summer will introduce and endear them to alot more folks! Good luck to this band, I think they would be a great opening band for an upcoming SPOON or TV ON THE RADIO tour or something.

5 out of 5 stars I Love It!.......2007-05-21

This is my first Sugarcult go-round...I really love it. The music is catchy with great sound and unique melodies. My favs on the album are "Riot" "Do it Alone" "Los Angeles" "The Investigation" "Hiatus" "Out of Phase" and "Dead Living." Now, that's almost half the album! I'm definitely satisfied that I bought it. If sugarcult hasn't impressed you in the past, then test it out before you purchase...remember, it's all I really have of them besides the songs "She's the Blade" and "How Does it Feel" from the other album "Start Static."

5 out of 5 stars SUGARCULT ROCKS!!!!.......2007-04-14

Just buy it!! You won't be disappointed. Rockers such as "Dead Living" and "Los Angeles" will have you bouncin' and maybe even off the walls!! "Shaking" is my favorite song as it still rocks, but is toned down just a bit to give it a lot of feel. Any ablum you get from Sugarcult is awesome. See them live as they put on a great show with a lot of grit!!

3 out of 5 stars Sugarcult - Lights Out.......2007-01-27

Sugarcult lets loose yet another winner with LIGHTS OUT, their third full-length release. The songs here are frantically tuneful and intensely melodic, offering more of the great punk/pop found on their first two discs, START STATIC and PALM TREES AND POWER LINES. The music here is also maturing, though, as Sugarcult has added some flourishes that add moments of The Cure and "Love"-era Cult. If you like Ok Go, Bowling For Soup and Fall Out Boy, make sure to check out Sugarcult.

5 out of 5 stars Pop rock still lives!.......2007-01-04

This is Sugaecult's 4th release and they still stay true to thier sound. Great riffs. catchy hooks, rocking harmonies. A must for Marvelous 3, Butch Walker fans. I was able to catch this tour and it was even better than the cd! The energy that they put out is just amazing. A great rock cd to add to your collection!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing CD by an amazing band........2006-12-17

I've been a fan of Sugarcult since the beginning and this CD has to be one of their best. The songs on this album have a lot of emotional attachment to them and this makes them even better. If you're a fan of Sugarcult or if you've never listened to them you should def. get this and give it a listen. Also if you get a chance to catch Sugarcult on tour you shouldn't pass it up. They put on an amazing concert!

4 out of 5 stars actually a 4.5 stars,It's a TRUE '70 classic........2007-06-04

I JUST BOUGHT THE RE-MASTERED VERSION OF THIS CD AND CAN'T BRAG ENOUGH!
I still have my vinyl copy from '77;yes, I'm a die hard fan. But I must say that this CD speaks for itself, once you give it a chance on the player. It is hard rock with melodic gifts and awesome guitar work on every song. This is THE album by UFO and only a fool that likes to rock,PLUS have a complete CD collection, would fail to own it. GREAT songs!
Everybody from the '70 had a copy, and for good reason...It's the real deal, and worth every penny in investment.
Be a ROCKER,and purchase this classic,NOW!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars for a '70's classic.............2007-05-12

I love this album. Perhaps it is the ultra smooth vocals of Phil Mogg, or the extraordinary guitar playing of Michael Schenker....or maybe the chemistry between the band members was just right. Whatever it was, it resulted in one of the finest collection of songs 1977 had to offer. You won't find heavy metal here, or even sophisticated soundscapes. What you will find is simple hard rock music with a laid back, almost country feel to it. At first listen, the songs may even seem bland, compared to the band's earlier releases, such as "Force It". But listen just a few more times to the vocals on "Gettin' Ready", or "Just Another Suicide" and then crank up "Lights OuT". Then try on "Electric Phase" with its Jimmy Page inspired guitar work, and cap it off with "Love to Love". You will be playing this one for years to come. The arrangements are just fantastic, the vocals superb, and the lead guitar work sublime. I couldn't recommend this one enough.

5 out of 5 stars Lights Out.......2007-03-08

A MUST for any UFO fan ... if you're new or never heard of them :( then you need to get this. They are timeless rock recordings that I have never got tired of hearing, since the late 70's. The three best, in order are: Obsession, Lights Out, Phenomenon ... the other are good (some great) but they (UFO) would never top these three.

5 out of 5 stars The Classic UFO Sound.......2007-02-13

This is the architypal UFO album where the best line up ever found their true sound. I hate the term "heavy Metal" and don't consider UFO to be anything other than a quality rock band. This album has everything, powerful guitars and rasping solo's like the classic "Lights Out",a beautiful ballad in "Try Me" , melody, orchestral arrangements and the classic "Love to Love". UFO discovered here that they could use keyboards and keep it heavy. All eight songs are great with plenty of variety to make it a real good listen even thirty years on.

4 out of 5 stars High Water Mark.......2006-05-08

This is all record is UFO at their peak. UFO was a band that sadly got swept aside in the '80's, when peers like Scorpions and Judas Priest were getting their kudos for influencing the the NWOBHM. Look around though, and you can hear UFO in both Maiden and Leppard. Meanwhile, Phil Mogg had only one rival as a lyricist working in the hard work milieu - Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy, (whose shortfall on the ladder of success is a injustice even greater than that of UFO.) Mogg had a much more mature approach to his writing - examine his take of the burgeoning punk scene and its excesses in the East End of London on "Lights Out", or the mental approach of "Gettin' Ready". These were no dragons and kings flights of fancy, a la Ronnie James Dio. There was gritty realistic look at everyday life in Mogg's lyrics. Meanwhile, Michael Schenker was simply the best guiatrist on the hard rock scene pre-VH. Lights Out is a great starter album for anyone looking to dip their toes in the UFO pool.

4 out of 5 stars when we say BOOM, we mean BOOM.......2007-07-09

having followed PT career with admiration, here comes his latest release. its another collection of covers and rerecorded personal faves. the performaces are excellent but some of song choices are peculiar to me because of them not showcasing his talent enough. some of those choices are GIMME BACK, LAST CHILD and SUPERSTITIOUS. some of the excellent choices are EVIL, DISAPPEAR and LIGHTS OUT. there is wonderful intimate feel to this disc which sizzles with RAW/LIVE energy. while having new material is great to have from PT-I just wish he would get back to more original songs. if you are a fan, climb on and remember its just past the 4TH OF JULY and there are still BOOMERS to hear.

5 out of 5 stars happy music.......2006-08-29

I could't offer a technical critique of this c.d,instead I'll attempt to describe the enjoyment it gave me.Imagine you're sitting in your car listening to the radio, not terribly enthusiastic about getting out to start work. You become aware there's a bright ,cheerful sounding tune being played-vaguely familiar,I find myself tapping out the beat and humming along-what's this called then? Then we get to the part I can identify-DAH-DAHdeDAHdeDAH-DAH-DAH-Oh,of course,it's the music they used in "The Hunters",oh the memories that brought back. That tune got me out of the car ,through the day's turmoil, and when I woke up the next morning at 3a.m.,it was still going throgh my head!Okay, log onto Amazon, click, click, all I've gotta do now is contain my impatience .The C.D. duly arrived, suffice it to say it exceeded all my expectations regarding quality and content and has become one of my favourites.

5 out of 5 stars Vintage march collection for connoisseurs.......2000-05-26

It seems like the heyday for recorded march collections was the early stereo era. The classic Mercury recordings by Fennell and the Eastman Wind Ensemble dating from that time no doubt contribute to that impression. In this collection, they demonstrate the seriousness with which they approach this repertoire by unearthing some lesser known (at least in the US) pieces to go along with the usual Sousa-esque fare. However, there is no sense that they scraped the bottom of the barrel: all of these marches are first rate. Even the less familiar marches will have you humming along in no time, so infectious are they. These performers bring their usual gutsy exuberance and the necessary polish, too. The sound is on the bold side so turn the volume down a bit for this one.

5 out of 5 stars Second time's the charm.......2006-09-19

When I first heard Lil Wayne's first album The Block Is Hot, I didnt feel it. The beats were horrendous and the guest appearances were just as bad. On this album Lil Wayne did a 360 and his raps got a lot stronger. Not onlt that but Mannie Fresh's beats sound way better on here plus the guest appearances are not a bad touch. Standout Tracks: GET OFF THE CORNER(Crazy first single), ON THE GRIND, HIT U UP, F*** WIT ME NOW, LIL ONE, WISH YOU WOULD, GROWN MAN, JUMP JIGGY, REALIZED, THA BLUES, LET'S GO and BEEF(dope song to end aN album with). Filler: Shine(cheesy second single), Biznite(funny but still stupid), Act A A**(boring, sounds like circus music). Bottom Line: Lights Out is Lil Wayne's best album. Better production, tighter rhyhmes from Lil Wayne and the guest appearances didnt bring this album down.

4 out of 5 stars Metropolis-Records newest Neon.......2007-07-10

Client has been around for a while now, managing a nice arrangement of discs in the process, and in that time they've managed quite a bit of acclaim while drumming up hits on the dancefloor. Their effort on the Nip/Tuck soundtrack (and what a soundtrack it was) earned them even more acclaim, and now Metropolis-Records have put themselves behind the band. At one time I would have been afraid for a band like Client, because wearing the Metropolis label would have meant that they would have had to change a bit to conform to the label's standards. This move doesn't mean anything bad for the band now, however, because the Metropolis of yore seems to have fallen and the new Metropolis seems to be a home where an armada of acts lay anchor and call home.

Heartland really does have a heavy pop sound mixed with synthized lapels, and the vocals have a bit of Ladytron stamped into the package. This makes the album something lightweight and yet fun to listen to, and the beat makes it worth blazing through the night to. There are a few songs I really could have done without - Zerox Machine being one of the forerunners - but the album is, by and far, something good to burn a night with. Slower pieces of the electronic puzzle like Someone to Hurt are good treats to listen to, and more dance-oriented songs like Light Go Out echo much of what Client has produced.

Before buying this, you can always sample the wears at Metropolis-Records to see if they are something you like. Client is not for everyone: as I said before, they have a really popish sound and some of the lyrics leave something to be desired. Still, the album serves a dancefloor purpose beautifully and, if you enjoy Client, this album is a progression in the right direction.
It actually accomplishes more than I initially gave it credit for.

4 out of 5 stars LIGHTS GO OUT INDEED.......2007-05-28

Electro-sexy Client have released another great electronic pop record. Fans of Dubstar, will once again gravitate to Sarah Blackwood's cold, yet endearing vocals. She has found a beautiful outlet since that band's demise. In fact the music of Client, suits her quite well, the driving electronic beats tend to bring out the best in her voice.

There's no denying the more sexual themes on Heartland, themes carried over in the smartly dressed stockings and leather found in their press photos. The music matches the look for sure. Think of it as the perfect soundtrack for your next light S&M session, there's something strangely appealing about that.
Molded in the dark impressions of The Pet Shop Boys, Ladytron, Goldfrapp, and as mentioned, Dubstar, Client have turned up the pace and sizzle a bit on Heartland, and for me, it works like a charm. "No mercy, no pleasure, no sin, the lights go out, here I go again", she confesses in "Lights Go Out." This is just one of the many examples of Heartland's determination to move the music a bit more in the bedroom. Amazingly, it all doesn't come off as cold and calculated as you would think. The driving beats and nicely arranged melodies help pull this out of the ordinary electronic fare. You can definitely dance to it, and the nice thing is, you'd probably be punished if you didn't.

This is definitely a "night" record, the songs all seem to sound better at night, maybe this has to do with the overall come on themes found throughout the album's tracks. Maybe the ladies of Client have cast a spell on me? Who knows? I just might be a sucker for a euro-dance track just like the next all-American boy, but there is some real quality here. There will be those who will go in thinking electronic music just isn't their cup of tea, and for that lot, Heartland will ring hollow. If some of those people were to make some effort, they would find Heartland's substance within the style.

So, next time your in need of a stylish, electronic pop record, don't forget there is really good music to be had on Heartland, although it wouldn't hurt to put some better clothes on when you listen to it
