Recorded in 2003 at The famous Sando in Newtown Australia, over 4 weeks of Marty's residency there. The album was mastered in NewYork and contains some of Marty's best solo songs from his many albums. the album is for collectors of Church material as well as Piper fans. Marty's great sense of performance and live presentation includes songs, poetry and interesting banter that sets him apart from so many artists in the live arena. A View From This Side.......2006-05-18

Marty's live offering is quite good. After a little strumming and crisp acoustic runs it's straight into " Hey There " and a quick transiton from that right into " Chromium " you will notice that the sound quality of this Disk is stellar. His singing is a bit lower than on previous releases but it fits perfectly for what is presented here. That said, this Disk puts you into a small club in Sydney with Marty singing and playing five feet in front of you.
Intimate and Emotional this is the only true way to describe what this man gives us, it's like having a secret treasure that nobody else has found.
Wonderful Acoustic Guitar, Fantastic Voice and a slash of Poetry make this one of the best things you never heard...
Songs as finely crafted as " My Museum " ring so true and clear to say this music is " Personal " would be a large understatement.
It's hard to review this disk, But at the same time it is easy... This is timeless music, it's Fresh and New but it's a Thousand Years coming... Please don't let it slip by because you don't wanna wait another thousand for something this good to come along again...
