This is a great group of old style Orbison recordings for disk 1. My Prayer and What'd Say I have never heard Roy sing before, however the second disk has no Roy. I bought this recording because I thought it was Roy... and his friends. I thought they were playing together. They are not. The 2nd disk has no Roy Orbison just to warn you. Most of the second album is easy to do without after listening to once, and mostly it isn't all that memorable to me, but maybe you'll feel different. It is worth the money for any Roy album but maybe you'll want to dodge this one because it's only half Roy and also because like many old hits and Roy hits, there is only one real problem and that's the shortness. Neither album reaches 30 minutes in length and no song reaches 3 minutes on either disk either. Also, like many inexpensive collection albums like this, there is almost no information on the liner notes. But because Roys there and there are one or two songs I liked on the 2nd disk, I will give it a three.
