5 out of 5 stars I really love this soundtrack, so beautiful! a collector's item. .......2007-01-30

After I saw this movie, Sabrina and heard its beautiful music,I decided to order one. I really felt in love with it. So romantic and inspiring. My husband loves it too and we always play it again and again and again.

5 out of 5 stars Sabrina: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.......2007-01-19

Beautiful music! Regret that the poignant songs - "In the Moonlight" and "How Can I Remember" - were not fully exploited in the very enjoyable movie for which all this precious music was composed. My granddaughter and I know the fabulous lyrics by heart, having listened to the CD so many times.

5 out of 5 stars Williams At His Most Elegant.......2006-11-28

I was very surprised -yet pleased -that director Sydney Pollack went after John Williams for the score to "Sabrina", instead of his usual composer, Dave Grusin. But since I am a huge fan of John Williams, I couldn't have been happier for what is, perhaps, one of his most elegant and sophisticated scores ever.
The theme from "Sabrina" is incredibly lovely, as it is mostly played on piano, segueing to a lovely full orchestra rendition, and culminating back with the piano. 'Moonlight' is another great highlight, and I have to say this: it's incredible to see the names John Williams and Sting together in one single track; and Sting makes one memorable performance of this song. And of course, there are many variations of 'Moonlight' played by the orchestra in a very spectacular and fashionable way: specially in the track 'Linus' New Life', which closes wonderfully with Sabrina's theme. Then there is this other theme heard throughout the movie describing Sabrina's loneliness and growth, which is also lovely, and it's fully developed in a song called 'How Can I Remember?' Beautiful, indeed. And one other treat can be found in 'The Party Sequence' with fantastic selections of classic jazz and romantic pieces, among them 'The Shadow Of Your Smile' and 'Stella By Starlight'.
Williams really did a great job on "Sabrina", and the album is one of the best compilations someone can enjoy. If you want to enjoy a very relaxing night with nice music in the background, this CD might just be your ticket.

5 out of 5 stars Williams Fans CANNOT Miss This Treasure.......2006-09-27

I recieved this score as a birthday present a few weeks ago, WOW! It has already become a personal treasure, and I dare say it will always be one of my favorite Williams scores. The score is a seamless blend of jazz, glorious thematic beauty, classical pomp, and wonderful old fashioned ballads.

In short, this is an album Williams fans can not afford to miss, and a treat for anyone just entering the world of film scores.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Sountrack for a Romantic Movie I have ever heard!.......2006-05-14

John Williams has written a wonderful, sweeping score for this movie. The mention of this composer's name in any soundtrack gives it instant credibility, but this composer created a "classic score" for the movie Sabrina.

Based on a four note introduction to the words "OH Sabrina" I can hear the development in continuing cues "OH Sabrina , I'm in love with you", track 5., trying to think of the manner in which Mr. Williams might have developed this "Main Theme" that runs throughout the CD, it is the most simple way of describing how it might have been accomplished.

It is a gorgeous, lush score with strings playing a major part Williams begins with a piano solo in the first cue to introduce the music and its very rememberable theme to listeners then introduces the orchestra to embellish an encompassing first track. The piano is brilliant as is the orchestra with many french horns adding to the music.

Sting follows with a classis of his own a vocal of "Moonlight" and then it's off to Paris, the track titled "Growing up in Paris" with lots of percussion accompanying the strings and french horns. Tracks 3 though 6 envelops the entire score into a rush of music that is so wonderful it almost sweeps you away with it and segues into the next track 5, "In the Moonlight", which produces the main theme again.

You never get tired of this CD. I play it over and over, it is so happy and positive. A brilliant score form one of the best composers ever. Excellent!

Stick with the CD here. The score is better than the movie in this reviewers opinion. Get it before you have to search for it
in OOP files.

3 out of 5 stars Should be titled Great End Credits Themes.......2007-04-05

Okay, so I thought I was buying "Great Movie Love Themes." I was familiar with the list, so I thought I would be getting the perfect compilation of melodies. Wrong. This CD should be titled, "Great Movie End Credits Themes," because four of the 12 selections are End Credits music, the stuff no one wants to listen to as all the technical information rolls at the end ot a movie (you know, exit music). The trouble with End Credits is that few carry the actual love theme music or they carry only a small snippet. Most End Credits music is boring. "The English Patient," "Shakespeare in Love," "Sabrina," and "Braveheart," are all End Credits music. Don't expect to hear predominant love themes in these particular selections for which the movies are known.

On the plus side, "Unchained Melody," "Somewhere in Time," and "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini," are beautiful renditions. And the End Credits music for "Sabrina," is better than expected. I'd give "Unchained Melody," "Somewhere in Time," and "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini" five stars, "Sabrina" four stars and the other eight selections two stars.

Just be aware when you buy this album that you are not getting exactly what is described. You have to read the fine print on the back of the CD cover.

5 out of 5 stars Great Mood Music! .......2006-02-27

I love any movie themes, especially the unsung tracks such as the music for opening or closing credits. This is a terrific CD and keeps me happy at work!

5 out of 5 stars movie themes.......2006-02-18

This CD is one of my new favorites. The music is just beautiful. Very relaxing soundtracks for in the car or at home.

4 out of 5 stars Wonderfully romantic.......2004-02-10

I really enjoy listening to CD for everything it has. The mixture of cinema movies makes it more likeable for they're films that most movie-goers will be able to relate to, in one way or another. Just say "Romeo and Juliet" and I'll think Nino Rota.
A personal favourite would have to be "The Heart Asks Pleasure First" (The Piano) but "Rose" (Titianic) follows close behind. The suite, "A Time For Us" (Romeo and Juliet) brings tears to my eyes and "Somewhere In Time" is a lovely ballad. For any other lovers of romance, whether it be in movies or in music, this is one cd that you are sure to like.

4 out of 5 stars A Good Listen.......2003-01-28

Some familiar favorites from great movies. A good cd to have for entertaining because everyone recognizes the tunes.

5 out of 5 stars Superb!!!!!!!.......2007-06-02

Yes, this is a fantastic debut CD for the lovely Sabrina. I'd like to say that I sort grew up as the #1 fan of her father's super group, Axymuth. Sabrina has picked up where Axymuth left off, plus a hefty amount of today's brazilian sound. I was so excited to listen to this debut, even before recieving it. And I must say that once played it for the first time I got goose bumps. Everything as far as the arrangement, composition and lyrics came as no surprise to me that Alex Malheiros played a major role aside from being the proud father. I just hope she will eventually tour in the U.S. I barely know your music Sabrina, but I love you!

4 out of 5 stars Nice listening but a little uneven.......2007-01-04

A very nice addition to my Brazilian collection. More Cibelle than Maria Rita. Compares with Rosalie De Souza and Bebel Gilberto but a little more club-like in the sound. A number of the songs are simply excellent. A couple are less so.

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding!.......2006-02-07

This album had me completely speechless. This is like finding a rare pearl. I found this in a Ferndale record store and I knew I was buying this as soon as I heard the first song. Incredible music is all that I can say about this album. Beautiful!!!

5 out of 5 stars Good Debut!.......2005-08-11

As already stated, Sabrina Malheiros is the daughter of Azymuth's Alex Malheiros. Knowing this you can figure that she's had a very diverse and unique musical up-bringing, from fusion to traditional. This is her debut album and it's on the Far Out Records label, where Azymuth, Joyce, Marcos Valle, Troubleman, Seu Jorge and countless others have released stunning albums. Far Out Records to me is one of the best labels out there. I've never been disappointed with the works I've picked up from them and what's better, they release loads of tremendous tunes on 12" with great remixes and takes. Kudos Far-Out!

This CD starts out well with "Terra De Ninguem", a nice little bossa nova influenced cut that dances and glides with a light flute and arrangement. "Love Sorte" kicks with a bit of bossa and percussion while giving a hint of Berimbau in it (as did a few others). "Vibrasom" is where you get a hint of the hip-hop/R&B influences that influenced her - cute song altough I'll wonder how time-less it'll be; always the risk with random added grunts, etc. "Passa" is another one that's similar but it's got a good groove to it although I prefer the remixes on the 12". Other cuts that I enjoyed were the original take to the cut given an explosive remix by Kenny Dope (available on 12" too), "Estacao Verao", and the VERY fitting remake to an old Ana Mazzotti classic, "Eu Sous Mais Eu". That one shouldn't be too surprising - Azymuth had a heavy hand in Ana Mazzotti's album back in the mid seventies and with them working with Sabrina here, they managed to capture much of that same magic that existed then. Then there are other cuts here that I enjoyed but don't want to mention them ALL.

I certainly recommend this! It's got an interesting vibe to it and Sabrina's voice is adorable to me. The album wasn't without a misstep or two - "Equilibria" wasn't one that grabbed me, for example. But there's enough strong songs here to carry it through and make me REALLY look forward to her next album and future 12" that she'll inevitably feature on with other Far-Out musicians and groups. If you dig this, you should definitely check out other Far Out artist as mentioned before along with Incognito's works, Rosalia De Souza's "Garota Moderna", Bebel Gilberto's "Tanto Tempo" (that one was more experimental to me), A Bossa Eletrica and a little group called 'Vertente' that's also off of the Far Out catalogue.

NEO-BRAZILIAN, JAZZY, SOULFUL ETC. IT WORKS FOR ME. THIS CD GETS BONUS POINTS FOR HAVING THE ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS TO THE TRACKS IN THE LINER NOTES. The several strains running through this kid-ready TV-soundtrack disc--pop and R&B boy groups, '70s and '80s Top 40 nostalgia, modern-rock stars, the Spice Girls, and one little-heard Geffen signing--hold together surprisingly well, like the mix tape proffered by the heroine of Ben Folds Five's "Kate." Backstreet Boys' "Hey Mr. DJ (Keep Playin' This Song)" displays them at their most Michael Jackson-esque, as Robyn's "Show Me Love" does at hers. The Cardigans' "Blah Blah Blah" fits the show's wiseacre tone, and Matthew Sweet's "Magnet & Steel" is a remake that's been waiting to happen for years. Good stuff. --Rickey Wright

4 out of 5 stars Best Spice Girls Song.......2005-09-12

I bought this CD just because of the Spice Girls song...I can't believe it was never released as a single.

1 out of 5 stars Not Very Magical... .......2004-08-05

The concept of the television show, Sabrina the Teenage Witch is simple enough. A young girl discovers that she is a witch on her sixteenth birthday and attempts to live a normal life filled with problems, both magical and regular. The show, for the most part, had great background music, with everyone ranging from Britney Spears to the Backstreet Boys to Melissa Joan Hart (who plays Sabrina) herself. The soundtrack album was released in 1998 and, while it features many popular singers, the songs are not overly memorable. Even after watching a large majority of the episodes in the television series, I cannot recall most of these songs even being in the episodes.

The album starts off with "Walk Of Life" by the Spice Girls, who, despite their major success in the previous year, fail to bring listeners anything really memorable. The girls give a decent enough vocal performance but sounded quite bored The girls proved on their two albums that they can add flavour to just about any song but this is a major exception. As well, in the middle of the song, the girls begin once again with a nonsensical chant of "zinga-za" which takes away from the quality. After that comes one of the few memorable songs on the album, "Abracadabra" by Sugar Ray. The song is very catchy and is even appropriate to the magical theme of the show. The vocals add a lot to the song as do the lyrics. ("Just when I think I'm gonna get away, I hear those words that you always say").

The Backstreet Boys are up next with "Hey Mr. DJ (Keep Playin This Song)", which despite the cheesy title isn't too bad. The shared vocals in the song sound awesome as well as give each boy a chance to sing. The harmonies also sound great. The song does not have much substance, but it is a soundtrack after all so it does not matter. Melissa Joan Hart, who plays Sabrina on the television series, comes next with a great cover of Blondie's "One Way Or Another". This is another album highlight despite the fact that Melissa does not have the best voice. However, she still manages to pull the song off well and this is one of the few that I can actual remember being on the show. Next up is the virtually unknown group Ben Folds Five with "Kate", a very lackluster and repetitive song that is forgotten as soon as it's over. The piano music in the beginning of the track isn't too bad but is not nearly enough to make it a good song.

Afterwards comes "Show Me Love" from Swedish pop singer Robyn which, like many tracks on the album, is simply not memorable. It is vocally decent but only the chorus really stands out. Robyn also sings pretty quietly in the verses making it quite to hear her. Next is "Giddy Up" by N Sync, which is one of the songs people may recognize (if they were fans of boybands) but is far from N Sync's best. Unlike the aforementioned Backstreet Boys track, the boys of N Sync do not have a lot of shared vocals or harmonies. Instead, they rely on one person singing lead and the other four joining in on the chorus. Personally, I prefer the shared vocals style. After that is the last real album highlight, "Slam Dunk Da Funk" by 5ive. The song is only really a highlight because it is one of the few memorable songs, but it is good enough to stand on its own.

After this comes an onslaught of songs, a majority of which are from virtually unknown artists and, in all honesty, the tracks do not do much to gain interest in them. First up is "Magnet & Steel" by someone called Matthew Sweet and it has got to be one of the most irritating songs I've heard. Matthew has an average voice and the lyrics are a perfect example of a metaphor gone wrong. After this is "So I Fall Again" by Phantom Planet. This song is actually not too bad but is lost in the onslaught of poor songs. Up next is trio Pure Sugar, with the mediocre "I Know What Boys Like". The song sounds extremely overproduced and repetitive. The song is also seems to drag on, even though it is less than four minutes in length. Afterwards is yet another unknown duo, The Murmurs, with "Smash". The song is incredibly violent sounding ("I see you face and I want to smash! Smash!") and seems stylistically out of place.

Next up is a poor remix of Aqua's "Doctor Jones". The original of the song was catchy and fun to listen to however the beat completely overpowers the vocals in this version. After this is an incredibly weak song by Britney Spears entitled "Soda Pop". It appears to be an attempt to do a reggae style and does not suit Britney at all. The lyrics are entirely nonsensical and the male voice that talks throughout the song is particularly annoying. After comes a lackluster Chumbawamba song entitled "Amnesia". The group has never had particularly meaningful songs (anyone remember "Tubthumping"?) but this one is just repetitive and quite boring. Lastly there is yet another unknown song called "Blah Blah Blah" by The Cardigans and the title kind of sums up the song.

Overall Mark: 1/5

Generally you can tell there is going to be trouble with an album when all of the good, or at least decent songs, are clumped in the front of the album. The album has very few good songs (maybe four or five out of sixteen) and the rest of it is boring, uninspired filler that leaves a lot to be desired. Even hardcore fans of the show would probably be disappointed in this compilation and it probably sounded much better the year it was released. Soundtracks are often hit and miss but this one is kind of pathetic.

5 out of 5 stars Sabrina, The Teenage Witch: The Album.......2004-01-01

THIS IS A GREAT COMPILATION CD! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SKIP TRACK 1 (WALK OF LIFE BY SPICE GIRLS) AND YOU'RE ALL SET TO PARTY!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Okay but gets cheesy at times.......2001-03-21

Sabrina The Teenaged Witch is a very cute, teeny-bopper show. Therefore you get cute, teeny-bopper songs. The highlights are Robyn's song Show Me Love which is a track with killer vocals, and Sugar Ray's cover of the classic song Abracadabra. The Spice Girls also give us a good track with Walk Of Life which is a fun song all about enjoying life. 'N Sync's can keep you entertained, as will Five and Ben Folds Five. However, there are fallbacks. I still cannot listen to I Know What Boys Like in full, it is just so bad. The Britney Spears song Sodapop is pop corniness at it's best complete with a reggae singer. While Melissa Joan Hart can definately act, she can't really sing making her track not that interesting. Overall though, if you are a fan of the show and pop music in general, you'll like this collection of songs.

5 out of 5 stars Byou is a fun record.......2006-03-19

It's so refreshing to find an age appropriate cd for my niece. She heard the song Byou on Radio Disney and had to have the album. Sabrina is one of her favorite stars from the Disney Channel from the movie The Cheetah Girls. I also bought the Cheetah Girls Christmas album, which was great. Byou has very inspiring lyrics for kids and has a great message. I am tired of hearing kids singing about their "lovely lady lumps" when they don't even know what they are saying. Thanks Black Eyed Peas. I would feel great giving this to any of my friends' kids as a present. The songs are created for a dance video, so they're really high energy. I even downloaded some of them on my Ipod and listen to them on the treadmill. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants good, wholesome and fun music for their kids.

5 out of 5 stars A great CD for girls!!.......2006-01-24

My daughter is really into this CD! And I'm very happy with it, too. The songs are motivating, with great messages for girls of believing in yourself, reaching for your dreams and appreciating yourself the way you are.

4 out of 5 stars some big producers of 80s synth-dance make this a must.......2005-09-20

This jam packed compilation has the two tracks GIORGIO MORODER wrote for Sabrina, "Like a Yo Yo" and "Pirate of Love." Plus it has a good number of her productions by STOCK AITKEN WATERMAN and PWL. Plus, there are a handful of extended remixes. I just wish more of the Stock Aitken Waterman 12" versions had been included--there's an extra 20 minutes of space left on the disc, so they could have included them, and even "hot girls," which is missing entirely from this compilation.

2 out of 5 stars Back in '88..........2005-09-13

The only thing that has ever haunted me about Sabrina(Salerno) can be seen on the cover of this compilation: her breasts. Sure, she had a cute, vibrant voice with that funny italian accent and her smash hit 'Boys' was a bright, sexy, goodhumoured thing (preferably combined with the sultry video - she was only 19 at the time and had an appearance that made your tongue hang out).
'All of me' was the second release from that period (also with a beach video), I think it did pretty well on the charts.
The other songs I'm afraid are rather forgettable, impersonal pop-workmanship, not even the professionalism from writers like Moroder can save the ship - or the bra - from sinking.

Music-biz types hardly come more original and iconoclastic than singer-songwriter Lee Hazlewood. As a producer, songwriter, and label head, he helped launch the careers of Duane Eddy, Phil Spector, and Nancy Sinatra (and almost derailed Gram Parsons by forcing him to strip the vocals off the Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo.) His songs placed wry, decadent lyrics atop attractive arrangements, and his baritone was deeper than Lake Erie. Hazlewood has frequently been covered by the alt-rock elite; Nick Cave, Neubauten, Knife in the Water, and Primal Scream have already recorded his songs. Hazlewood's strange little tunes, close cousins to those of Serge Gainsbourg and Scott Walker, invite interpretation, which Total Lee! delivers in spades. The standout track is British folk chanteuse Kathryn Williams's simple and pure "Easy & Me." But you've got to hear the Tindersticks' bleary take on "My Autumn's Done Come" and the Webb Brothers' positively uplifting "Some Velvet Morning." This might be the best tribute album since 1999's More Oar: A Tribute to Alexander "Skip" Spence --Mike McGonigal

    4 out of 5 stars A Worthy Compilation.......2003-02-19

For 30 years, whenever I heard the name Lee Hazlewood, all I could think of were the duets he did with Nancy Sinatra back in the sixties. I was a young teen then and considered them impossibly cheesy.
Over the years, my musical tastes have broadened considerably, so that when I read in a Nick Cave biography that he looked on Lee Hazlewood as one of his musical heroes, I decided to have a listen and hear what I've been missing. While searching the racks for Hazlewood CDs, I stumbled on this and decided to give it a shot.
I really had no idea what to expect as I was vaguely familiar with only two of the songs, but after three listens I was hooked. My favorite is the splendid interpretation of Summer Wine by Evan Dando and Sabrina Brooke, but I also really enjoyed The Webb Brothers on Some Velvet Morning, St Thomas on The Railroad, Erlend Oye on No Train To Stockholm, The Amazing Pilots' rendition of Soul's Island, and Kid Loco's take on If Its Monday Morning. Other songs are good too, and overall this recording features a smorgasbord of styles that give it broad appeal.
The songs selected were not all hits by any means, but are representative of the breadth of Hazlewood's writing. The CD comes with an informative booklet that features Hazlewood's commentary on each of the songs and is sprinkled with goofy pictures of him in various poses.
If you are at all musically adventurous, buy Total Lee! It is truly a worthy compilation.

    4 out of 5 stars Alternative Hazlewood.......2002-09-15

Lee Hazlewood's "Total Lee!" tribute could be subtitled "alternative artists discover Hazlewood." British label City Slang has put together an interesting mix of artists to showcase these songs. Other than Webb Brothers & Evan Dando, all the artists were new to me. The liner notes consist of a conversation with Hazlewood and come off as quite informal, sometimes helpful. Lambchop opens with a dense brief version of "I'm Glad I Never." Neal McNasty does a dense electronic reverb take on "Come On Home To Me." One of Lee's biggest hits with Nancy Sinatra, "Some Velvet Morning," is given an excellent update by Webb Brothers with vocals submerged under a guitar wash and synthesized keyboards. Valerie Leulliot & Calexico Feat tackle "Sundown Sundown" with a sound like a James Bond theme in Mexico. Johnny Dowd must be a band with its vocals on "Sleep in the Grass" split between male and female voices; the track is one of the less effective with corny accents. Nathan Bennet & St. Etienne do a sweet version of the Lee & Nancy song "Got It Together Again." My favorite track is St. Thomas' take on "The Railroad." Hazlewood compliments them as being better than the original artist! The vocal is enthusiastic; & the infectious percussion comes off like an alternative Tennessee Ernie Ford. Jarvis Cocker & Richard Hawley unearth an early 1956 Hazlewood hit, "The Cheat," with submerged snarling vocals and Stratocaster reverb. An acoustic "No Train to Stockholm" glides by Erlend Oye. Amazing Pilots do a very long, very spooky version of "Soul's Island." Lee's favorite is Kathryn Williams' take on "Easy & Me"; her beautiful voice with airy vocal flying above the acoustic guitars & the booming punctuation of drum. "My Autumn's Done Come" is a song about aging dreamily channeled by Tindersticks. Lee calls "We All Make the Little Flowers Grow" by Stephen Jones & Luke Scott "commercial as hell." It does have a happy bubbly rhythm. The familiar Lee & Nancy tune "Sand" is given a good reading by Calvin Johnson & Mark Pickerel whose voices alternate between a tenor and Johnny Cash-like bass. Sabrina Brooke & Evan Dando nail the spirit of "Summer Wine." "If It's Monday Morning" by Tim Keegan & Kid Loco concludes the CD with a rather strange arrangement of the song that even Hazlewood questions in the liner notes. "Total Lee!" is an adventurous look at an excellent songwriter's work. Most of it works well. His songwriting deserves to be honored. Enjoy!

2 out of 5 stars Overproduced, Underperformed, Uninspired, Uninspiring.......2001-05-31

German rap seems to fall into two main camps - just like its US forebear. There are those performers like Die Fantastischen Vier and Fettes Brot who are amazing lyrically and don't mind being thought of as a bit insane, then there are those like Sabrina Setlur who have talent but just don't use it.

Sabrina's main problem is the fact that she is signed to the 3P label. The producer/head honcho of this label is a fellow called Moses Pelham - essentially the Puff Daddy of Germany. Pelham's recipe for success in music seems to be to turn the bass up VERY HIGH (3P's slogan translates as "more bass" - if there were any more my speakers would explode) and pepper the albums wih guest stars.

This is the main problem with "S-Klasse". I heard "Du Liebst Mich Nicht" while in Germany in 1997 and was pleasantly surprsed by it. Unfortunately the reast of the album is in the same vein and it gets less and less pleasantly surprising as it wears on.

Sabrina's rapping is quite pedestrian and rather talentless - although she does demonstrate that she could rap well if she really tried hard. In fact, whenever the track really begins to get bogged down she actually begins to shout, which is truly a sign of terrible lack of talent.

The production here lives up to its name - more bass (and more and more and more and more). In fact, poor Sabrina is sometimes inaudible as Herr Pelham delivers another crashing salvo of bass, bass und mehr bass. The effect of this is almost the same as the West Coast belief that P-Funk beats were the way to go in the early-mid 90s - each track becomes almost indistinguishable from the next as the music sounds the same and the lyrics don't sound at all.

The guest "stars" are truly shocking. This actually goes for all 3P acts. Moses decides that he has to make an appearance (at least he raps in German), as do the other two "headline acts" at 3P at the time - Thomas Hoffmann and Illmat!c. Hoffmann is thankfully rarely heard but if the listener hears him there will be do doubt who he is - another talentless one who's perfectly suited to production. Illmat!c is worse if that is possible. He tries to come out with a sound similar to that of just about anyone on the East Coast (even to the point of rapping in English). The net result of this is that he is the worst of all.

The most interesting feature of this album is that it features 2 versions of the track "Freisein". The first appears to be the original - Sabrina actually singing behind a thin voiced man whose name I can't remember. The second has a much more convincing vocal contributed by Xavier Naidoo. A third version of this song appears on Xavier's album "Nicht Von Dieser Welt" and is also worth checkin out. Unfortunately, unless one is equippend with a CD burner, the only way to get the first 2 versions is through buying this.

In short, not really a good album although Sabrina does show brief flashes of talent. Let's just say that for now she's more suited to hanging off Boris Becker's arm than performing music.

    5 out of 5 stars Sabrina Setlur.......2001-04-30

is the best european rapper. She knows how to catch the beat and flow with it. Anyone who likes rap will like this cd whether they speak german or not, and they will probably recognize the sample beats. Sabrina Setlur ist der Beste Rapper von allen!

    4 out of 5 stars German Sensation.......2000-01-20

This CD has a great beat. I really have no idea what the words mean, but she is a very smooth rapper. I first heard this when I was stationed in Europe. She also has a new one that is out, but I don't think available in US yet. Anyone who likes rap, this cd is for you.

5 out of 5 stars Sabrina is great!.......1999-07-27

Sabrina is an awesome rapper, you gotta have this CD. Personally my most favorite song is 'Du liebst mich nicht'...it talks about how she once got treated from one of her ex boyfriends, and if you ask me, I am sure, that lots of guys do treat girls like that! Shame on them!
