Customer Reviews:
Like being wrapped up in a warm blanket.......2005-07-20
I would rather have the albums that these songs came from. Usually when you buy an aggregate of songs from an era or even a log of those so called "Best Of"' albums it is some one else's idea of what is best of.
Well with this album you are in luck; they are all great representative track of various major artists. This is more than just elevator music. They are great driving songs and each bring back (assuming you were alive then) warm memories of distant times.
Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season) - The Byrds surprisingly enough is out of the Bible Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
"To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under the sun."
Different Drum - Linda Ronstadt - Linda can change her voice and stile to suit just about anything however Right after "Blue Bijou" this fits her and us best.
All the other songs follow suit.
If you are on a limited beget and still want quality then this is the album for you.
