One of the great things I love about satellite radio is every once in while you come across a great musician that you haven't heard before. Matt Hebert falls into this category. The music is incredible and the lyrics are beyond that, if that's possible. I've been living in NYC since 2000 and have yet to see better.

Sugar on the Edge is the latest work of a very talented man. I've been listening to Matt Hebert since I first heard him on XM Radio over a year ago. The songs on this album are constructed very much like complete Short Stories, in the literary sense, and they don't always end like you expect. Matts sings about places in the heart that we've all been, but he does so in a unique voice. As a native New Yorker, I have a chance to see plenty of musicians, but there are few I look forward to more than Matt. Sugar on the Edge will get under your skin and haunt you. You will LOVE this album and you'll look forward to his next one too.
